Kevin brought the magic of Ireland into our Seattle living room with a personalized, virtual tour through Dingle. His tour was a perfect blend of history, present day Dingle, and interesting and fun facts and stories. A trip to Dingle was already on our wish list and after the tour, the area is a must see for us when international travel allows. Thank you, Kevin, for your time and for sharing such a lovely place with us. We can't wait to visit in person!

We could not go to Ireland but we had a first class Zoom tour. Our family and friends from all over joined us. Kevin has so much historical knowledge it is amazing. He is also easy going and flexible leading a video group. I felt like I was back in Ireland but I learned so much new about a beautiful place. Thank you very much Kevin. This was a fun way to learn. Have a family member join you on a tour who isn't able to travel! Or you can all travel together from your livingroom!

After over 3-months in lockdown due to COVID-19 and not a prayer of international travel restarting on the horizon, 10 of us followed Kevin O'Shea (Celtic Nature Walking Tours) by zoom on a walking tour of Dingle, Ireland. What a fun way for friends and family from South Africa (me), Seattle, WA, USA (Beacon Hill & West Seattle), Rochester, New York, and Poughkeepsie, New York to get (virtually) out of the house. For some of us, it was a return trip and a few were seeing Ireland and Dingle for the first time. Kevin started us off in the harbor and then ventured down the narrow lanes in town. Crazy to see empty sidewalks (due to the pandemic) on a beautiful sunny 3-day weekend. From pre-Christian history, a few churches, lots of pubs - Kevin brought the town to life for us. As a special treat at the end of our tour, Kevin drove us a bit out of town to the estate of Lord Ventry who collected ancient Ogham (pronounced ohm) stones that have etched names or short inscriptions. (see photos). Quite amazing stories and history! Thank you so much Kevin for something different and special during this crazy time in the world! I can't wait to be able to do this with you in person as soon as COVID-19 allows. #zoomtourdingle #pandemicvirtualtravel #walkdinglewithkevin #travelduringcovid #travelwhilechillin #virtualtraveler

We’ve enjoyed several trips to Ireland but our guided coastal walk with Celtic Nature Walking Tours was our all-time favorite experience. First, Claire was immensely helpful in setting up the walk to match our interests and schedule along with great tips for other parts of our itinerary in Connemara and Beara. Kevin picked us up at 9:00 in the morning and the day’s adventure began with a fun and knowledgeable immersion into Irish history, language, culture and Dingle peninsula landscape as we drove along Slea Head to our walking route. We quickly realized this was going to be a very special experience. The views – ocean, islands and headlands--were spectacular; but so much more enjoyable and meaningful with Kevin’s easy commentary along the way. Five hours later, we found ourselves invigorated, happy and reluctant to end the tour in the drive back to Dingle. But it wasn’t over because Kevin treated us to some poetry and Irish tunes to top it all off. We tend to be rather independent explorers, but we can’t wait to return and book more touring with Claire and Kevin.

Where to start? Claire coordinated our trip seamlessly and her outgoing, knowledgeable husband Kevin guided us through the climb that lead to breathtaking views of “The Kingdom”. Kevin told us he “wished this would be the highlight of our trip”, and our last day in Ireland my boyfriend and I asked each other what our favorite part was and you guessed it... over the cliffs, over Dublin, the Mt. Brandon climb with Kevin was the best! They were so accommodating of meeting, payment, picking us up, suggesting a local dinner at “Out of the Blue” etc. Was Perfect! Thanks again Kevin and Claire, everything as more than we could have asked for, all the best from Anthony and Valerie
