Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had an amazing time walking and talking with Kevin around the Blasket Island Center, Dunquin Pier, and along the Wild Atlantic Way on the Dingle Peninsula. I loved hearing about the legends and mythology of ancient Ireland as we took in the amazing sights. Highly recommend!

We called at the last minute and Kevin made room for us in his day. He gave us a 2 1/2 hour walking tour of DIngle and along the way provided a history of the area and the current climate of the area. He is a local who knows lots of people along the walk and everyone wants to talk to him or say hi. I wish we had more time in Dingle as we would have loved to do a longer tour with him. When we come back we will contact him straight away. He's your guide in Dingle!

Spent several very enjoyable hours walking with Kevin on their Dingle Way walk. You definitely need your boots as we walked on little trails amid grass and low brush, up and over hills. The result is great views of the coast in many directions. Kevin meanwhile provides commentary on history, Irish culture and mythology. This company only does private tours, so you're into bundled into a group.
I highly recommend booking a guided tour with this company.

Kevin was a charming and helpful guide up our mountain trek to the summit of Mt Brandan. I liked his attentiveness to the little things that matter: best footing for the rocky path, best photo spots, best folklore tales. I suggest meeting Kevin in the town square of Dingle as the entrance to the hiking path is not marked well for tourists. The rate was very affordable. A guide is necessary because the trail up can become difficult to see as it blends into the grassland. Plus, the weather on Mt Brandan changes each 30 mins. And yes, the weather turned tough. Thankfully Kevin was with us to show us the way.

Our day walking tour with Kevin was a highlight of our Ireland trip. He structured the walk to our interests and was a wealth of information. It was also very interesting to get an Irish lad’s opinion on a range of topics. Our walk was breathtaking and would not have been one we would have ventured on our own. We highly recommend!

This was one of the very best activities during our stay in Dingle. The walking tour of Dunquin with Kevin was informative, entertaining, and well worth the nearly 5 hours we spent with him. Kevin is a gifted storyteller, historian, and hiking guide. From the initial inquiry with Claire to the completion of the hike, our experience with Celtic Nature Walking Tours was most enjoyable. I would strongly recommend this activity for groups small and large, including kids.

We went on a hike on the Dunquin headlands with Kevin and it was an amazing way to spend the morning. He is very knowledgeable and has a great way about him, connecting with my whole family including my two teenage daughters. We walked around Dunquin Pier and out to Clogher head, chatting all the way. We will always remember this experience. Many thanks to Kevin!

We originally booked our walking tour of the Dingle Peninsula back in 2019, planning to do it in April 2020. Those plans were scratched by the pandemic, and we tried to rebook a couple of times only to find it wouldn't work. We finally made it this year, and we are very grateful to Claire Galvin for sticking with us and being willing to make things work. We had a wonderful time, even though I had a fall on the second to last day of walking and couldn't walk the final day. Claire worked out rides for us, and we had a lovely end to the trip. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Claire was wonderful, and we had a delightful day of walking with Kevin O'Shea, who gave us some lovely stories and really enlivened the trip. Fabulous time! We would strongly recommend spending longer than we did and take a day off between the walks. They are strenuous, but worth the effort. Waterproof hiking boots an absolute necessity. All of the B&B's we stayed in were first class -- friendly, comfortable, welcoming. Great food opportunities. Do it if you can!

We used Celtic Nature Walking Tours to organize and support our walk around the Dingle Peninsula and we couldn't be more pleased with the individual care, kindness, and service we recieved from Claire and Kevin. One reason we choose this service was because they are located on the Dingle Peninsula and have deep connections to the local communities and knowledge of the lore and history of this place. Because of this, we received an experience that was personal as Claire connected us to exceptional places to stay and people she knew to help us along the way. She was close by to help us whenever we needed it. We also spent a delightful day walking with Kevin who regaled us with his deep knowledge of history and lore of the area and his great sense of humor. We would highly recommend Celtic Nature Walking Tours to anyone who would like to walk in this magical landscape.

We had a great day with this service, walking near Dunquin at the end of the Dingle Peninsula. This worked very well for us as didn't have a car.
Chris was so knowledgeable about the history of the area, and we really enjoyed listening to him talk about the Irish language.
He was very flexible in our choice of trail after we discussed some options, and checked in with us along the way about where we might go next. The scenery was grand, with great views out to the Blasket Islands and beyond.
It was very easy to schedule the outing, and Chris was prompt in the morning.
Highly recommended!
