If you are travelling in County Kerry and the Dingle peninsula, don't miss a live music night in Flaherty's! Fergus will sing Dingle Bay in a way you'll never forget and his fellow musicians make a great Irish traditional music experience. In summer, Flaherty's has a nice beer garden too.

This is like a neighborhood bar; there was a small band playing the afternoon we were there & the owner of the bar sang with the band. Friendly clientele.

Are you kidding! You walk in and immediately feel comfortable. I sat down at the bar and realized I had taken a locals place who was sitting there. He immediately said....no sit, enjoy yourself, unwind and have a good time. Took me from feeling uncomfortable for taking his seat to welcomed and appreciated. The bar is stocked, and the music......the music was the best. What I loved about Dingle and Ireland is that the pubs are filled with locals who bring their instruments and just enjoy playing together. They come and go, but play all night! Because they love it! The lead gentleman played the accordian, the guitar, banjo, flute and piano. Are you kidding? No I am not and each was as good or better than the next. One of my favorite experiences in Ireland. I could spend much more than two days in Dingle!

If you want a quirky pub in a town of quirky pubs then this is the one. Full of the history of Ireland’s struggles with a landlord who can probably play more musical instruments than have been invented. Pay a visit to hear some brilliant Irish music and if you feel like it you can also get up and sing yourself.

We headed here thanks to the recommendation of our B&B hostess (Bambury's Guest House). We were combatting some jet lag but so glad we stayed up for the trad session. The talent and enthusiasm of the musicians is a delight. The locals were also welcoming to us tourists who wandered in. This is the experience one imagines when planning a trip to Irealnd and was a highlight for us!

If you are looking for a large tourist pub this isn’t it.
But if you are looking for an authentic Irish corner pub with good music, colorful locals and great drinks this is it.
Only drawback is there is limited seating.

I think music is played most nights apart from Sunday.
