This is an old school pub to go for a locally brewed beer or some great whiskey with about 12 to 20 of your new friends in Dingle. It is a cozy front bar with some additional seating for larger groups. The bartenders are attentive and provide recommendations when needed. It is definitely worth a stop by as your stroll through Dingle.

Great pub . Layout was quirky. Lots of little seating areas . Has its own brewery selling very good beer . The other one had a Dingle gin also excellent.
No food served here but within a few steps of lots of good and varied cafés restaurants etc .

We visited Dick Mack's during a food tour with Kingdom Food Tours. This bar also has a brewery behind it where they are passionately brewing several types of delicious beer. We spoke with one of the owners who walked us through their process and we learned so much not only about brewing beer, but also about pub operations! It was a little behind the scenes glimpse of that world and it was really interesting! Usually they don't run tours (you have to book a food tour for that), but the bar itself is historical, very charming, and has amazing local beers for you to try. They also have a back area with a little food truck, picnic tables, etc.

This is such an eclectic bar. Amazing whiskey options, a few good tap beer choice and the atmosphere is unique. This is a great stop for anyone to come and have a few pints, try a whiskey or two and visit with new and old friends alike. This was a great first stop on our visit to the Dingle area.

We enjoyed this iconic pub in Dingle very much. Admittedly, there were many tourists in there like us, but the atmosphere wasn't lacking. We enjoyed sitting in a snug, and watching folks come and go. Enjoyed a few pints, and went on our way. I took a walkabout, and enjoyed seeing all the different rooms and nooks and crannies that, I'm sure, are busy on a weekend eve. Bartender was business like, and that was fine. Enjoyed ourselves immensely.

The storytelling of how three friends have met the challenges of covid to re-emerge after the lockdowns to continue to follow their dream. Entertaining and engaging.

I'd had a few drinks and I told the big lad behind the bar his calves looked small. He took it very well and only asked me to leave after I stood on the bar and proclaimed that "I'm the real King of Dingle". 10/10 whiskey selection, they let me back in the next day when I apologised, but I was barred again after I stole the lamb that tethered up out the back (he's doing very well btw, I called him Oscar).

Im from Kerry but living in Dublin most of my life. My brothers golf and hit Dingle all the time. Went with a friend for a break and hit Dick Macs on advice from the lads. Was v excited to show my carlow friend wonderful kerry hospitality. Dick Macs was not to place to do it. Pair of male posers behind the bar were unfriendly and disinterested. We met some lovely locals in there and had a bit of craic with them alright but thats par for the course. Really dissapointed with the lack lustre lads behind bar. The girl bar worker was lovely and couldnt be more friendly though. Went to Foxy Johns and had much better night. Far more welcoming team working there. Maybe it was a bad day but something very off in Dick Macs. Other people we met experienced the same. a local shop owner we talked to said 'they had notions' when we asked for a bit of insight 😅. in summary you might enjoy Dick Macs but it will be because of the locals you meet

Such a great bar. Everyone was so friendly. All of the music and singing will stick with me as some of my fondest memories.

We had watched a YouTube video and were really excited to go here. Once we arrived the bartender was the least interested individual I’ve had any contact with in Ireland. It was if we were a bother coming in. Other tourists came is shortly after us and we shared good conversation.
