I was in Dingle as part of an Overland Ireland tour and had time to wander. Came across The Carol Cronin Gallery set back from the street a bit just after 6 pm on a Saturday night. Though the lights were out there was still enough daylight to see a super seascape in the main gallery window. The wave edging was exquisite and I was sorry not to have arrived sooner to see the other paintings. After a few minutes viewing, I turned to go, but Carol opened the door on her way out and was kind enough to let me in to see her other paintings. She was delighted to talk about her work, and her paintings were wonderful and one of the highlights of the town and trip. Extraordinary painter and seascapes. Check out her .com website under her name and you'll see why she and her gallery deserve a visit and five star reviews.

We happened on Carol Cronin's gallery in Dingle purely by accident. Her large canvas seascapes are nothing short of astonishing. The brushstrokes are so fine as to seem comprised of single sable hair. The variety of colors in the sea, the Chiaroscuro, and the aerial view that captures the breaking of hundreds of small waves on each other is almost audible. I found her work spellbinding.

As we took the Slea Head Drive around the Dingle Peninsula the following day, we stopped often to take in the extraordinary seascapes. I was struck by how like Carol Cronin's paintings the Atlantic Ocean itself was. There were views that truly seemed to imitate the work of Carol Cronin. Amazing!

Carol Cronin is the Master of the Waves. I've never seen paintings with a such a translucent depiction of water before. Even those with "just" the sea are full of emotion and spirit. Cronin's work is really great art and therefore has its price, but she also keeps in mind those with the smaller wallet and offers giclee prints and postcards to make us happy :-)

It was Easter 2014 when I was lucky enough to spend some time in wonderful dingle with my son daughter in law and grandson from New York ,we were passing by and noticed an amazing oil painting in the distance so went to investigate. Carol the artist was inside painting and although the gallery was not open she invited us in and spent time showing us her work and chatting about Dingle places to visit.
The beautiful paintings had us in a trance they were so full of movement and life a definite must for visitors to Dingle..

Walking down Green Street we noticed an short alley that ended in a white faced doorway. A sign painted on the wall of a building in the alley said something like "Cronin Art Gallery". Suz likes art so we walked the 50 feet down the alley and walked into a shop of blues/greens/sunlight and beauty. We both fell in love with both the paintings and the artist. Carol is an engaging lovely lady and our planned 15 minute side step ended an hour and a half later. We got post cards as a painting wasn't in our budget at the time and international travel doesn't treat them well. A must see in Dingle!

Carol is a talented artist and a very interesting person to talk to. The exhibition we visited captured the mood and depth of colour in the sea around Dingle. Would definitely have bought a painting if I had more money!

Carol was in the shop when we visited and working on a piece of fascinating art. As an artist, I was entranced by her work. Carol was very gracious and took time to chat. I am still amazed at her wonderful paintings of the sea and sand of Ireland.

If you love great art and beautiful seascapes visit Carols studio. I have admired her work for many years. If you do go in, be careful as you may not be able to leave without buying something. I have a beautiful painting of Ventry Bay to show from my recent visit.

We thought of doing a pub crawl in Dingle but I had another thing in mind, a gallery creep. Dingle has a lot of galleries for a small town. We happen to hop in Carol Cronin's fantastic gallery. She is one artist whose paintings are easily identifiable. Her works takes you to a different realm- ethereally pure devoid of pretense yet forces honesty to your inner self if you are not there yet. Like her works, Carol is so much fun to talk to which we had the pleasure for about half an hour. I hope to own one of your works someday Carol.

This is such a lovely review. Thanks so much. I'm glad you (temporarily I hope) abandoned your pub crawl to come here instead! I really appreciate what you said about the paintings. It's great to be here to be able to hear what people say about the work. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip!
