Small Aquarium with a lot to offer
You will see from my past reviews I LOVE aquariums. Dingle Oceanworld did not disappoint. Yes, it is on the smaller side and from the front looks tiny, but once inside it is larger than it appears from the street. I love the fact that they source their water from Dingle Bay across the street. More importantly the exhibits are clean and so well kept. We were fortunate to arrive in time for the shark and turtle feeding and were educated by dear Michele who talked us through the history of the inhabitants (some rescued) . Definitely a kid friendly exhibit. Make sure to visit the outdoor penguins as well as the butterfly room. Approx $20 (16 Euro) for adults. Remember this helps them run their rehab programs as well as pay staff.

Highly recommended with small kids and a couple hours to spare
We unexpectedly stopped at Dingle Oceanworld on a cold and rainy day. It was the perfect attraction for our three small children (ages 1, 5, and 7). Everyone was very welcoming and kind, especially Liam, an animal keeper who spent a long time with us, sharing interesting facts and stories about several of the animals there. It was definitely worth a visit!

Fantastic place with much to offer.
We just had a fabulous 2.5 hours visiting Dingle Oceanworld and we really enjoyed it. The new immersive experience was great fun. The whole place is kept very clean . There is so much to enjoy . I loved the butterfly area so warm, bright and beautiful. Eddie has a soft spot for penguins so he enjoyed that there were two different types there and we got to watch them feeding too. We really enjoyed watching the otters have their lunch as well , amazing creatures. I got to stroke a stingray in the open pool because it came up to see me. We saw terrapins, tiny mud turtles and a huge turtle. There was everything from sharks to beautiful seahorses. Every member of staff there are friendly and helpful (especially Suzanne) and so informative. Especially during the feeding sessions, the guide was extremely interesting and knowledgeable. It's been years since we were there but there is so much more to see and do now . It was brilliant and we highly recommend it. PS : they do great coffee.

    A wonderful experience
We visited as a family and we were all so impressed with the variety of sea creatures. The knowledge and friendliness of the staff is fantastic. I highly recommend this day out especially if the rain comes in. Initially I thought it was very expensive but completely worth it to see the animals cared for, a clean environment and experienced, knowledge staff.

    Expensive but worth it
Fantastic place. We went with our 6 and 4 year olds and they loved it. A bit expensive but you can easily spend 2 hours in there, especially if it's raining. Try to time your visit for some feeding times, given on their website. Dingle itself is wonderful too.

A visit to Dingle in Ireland
Due to the inclement weather my wife and I decided to visit Oceanworld in Dingle From the outside it looked very small, but once inside we were pleasantly surprised, all the exhibits were interesting and well looked after. We had a long chat with Ian who was very informative and proud of his "Otters", Also worth a mention was the lady in the Gift shop/Café who nothing was too much trouble. Excellent parking opposite well worth a visit would highly recommend

    One of my favorite aquariums
This was the PERFECT activity for a Sunday morning before most of the town opened up. It was truly amazing what they did with a relatively small space. The fish, turtles, sharks, otters, and butterflies were so interesting and beautiful to see and interact with. A special thank you to Ian who was there guiding people through the space and talking about the animals: he really made the experience even better.

Nice place to escape the rain
Great wet weather activity for an hour or two. Not big but done very well. The penguins are a highlight for sure. Keepers are clearly passionate about the animals they care for, and give great talks.

Absolutely stunning aquarium, set in Dingle, very friendly atmosphere, ample parking across the road.

From butterflies to different kinds of fish to Otters to penguins to sharks to an adorable turtle called Molly, a highly enjoyable visit from a solo traveller to a family packed adventure.

Our accommodation recommended we visit. We had no idea what to expect but it was fantastic. It has been our kids highlight of our trip so far! We (the parents) really enjoyed it too.

We visit this great aquarium every year and love it. The shark tank is my favourite. It's even better at feeding time. (I think it's twice a week.)

Extremely overpriced. €51 for 2 adults and 1 child! The minute I stepped in I wanted to walk back out again as there was no space whatsoever due to a huge crowd crammed into such a small area. Took 20 minutes to see the marine life, unfortunately we didn’t get to see the otters and reptiles because of the lack of space we physically couldn’t!! Very small enclosures for the fish and the penguins. Children screaming everywhere. 0/10 very disappointed
