I played with idea of kayaking when in Ireland and gave the company a call when in town. They said they had an opening in 30 minutes and it was the best decision I made!
The tour guide was so friendly and helpful.
The sea kayaking was brilliant. Met Funghi although very briefly. Even though I could not swim or kayak I paddled all the way to the mouth of the bay and back. The instructors could not be more helpful or kind. One of those things you've...More
This is a 3 hour tour and depending on the time of day you could be fighting tides both ways. If you are in good shape take the later day excursion because you will get the better work out. In other words, you will be...More
Kayaking in Dingle with Irish Adventures is an amazing experience. They always ensure our large group gets to go out together and even accommodated us when we arrived late this summer due to traffic!

We went out in the double kayaks, known as 'divorce boats' and had a really fantastic evening on the water with our very entertaining and friendly guide.....and none of the couples wanted a divorce afterwards, so all round a winner! I highly reccomend this activity.

Hi Jill, Sorry the min age is 8 years of age. Our kayaks are sea kayaks so young kids don't work with the kayaks. You'll just have to come back to use in a few years. We will however have kayak rental at Ventry beach this year. So that could be an option for you to do for an hour or two. Call us to book if coming down on 0874190318. Regards
Noel, Irish Adventures

It depends on what kind of things you want to see. Historic wise there are a lot of old monasteries/houses along the coast line in the south, quite a few on smaller islands which are good days out (as long as the weather is not half bad). Hiking there are some quite good routes, again along coastal areas, I would recommend a good OS map and or a guide as you may get lost quickly, though easy to back track and ask people. Sight seeing via car/bike then the Atlantic highway,Slea Head Drive and Ring of Kerry. Adventure then look up local activity centers as most offer a wide range of outdoor activities. Culture wise then most locations on the map! I enjoyed Dublin though it isn't easy to drive, but it has the Guinness brewery, Trinity college and a wealth of lively pubs.
