Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Happened across An Diseart by accident - so glad we did. What an amazing display of stained glass windows, beautiful church and gardens. Really should be part of everyone's itinerary in Dingle - would be a pity to miss it.

We called in to see the Fabulous Harry Clarke windows that are well worth a visit. An extra treat to see The Fresco by Eleanor Yates showing the Last Supper with a very Dingle twist. Topped off by the beautiful gardens, truly worth a visit

To be honest we visited An Diseart because it was raining knowing nothing of Nano Nagle or the stained glass artist Harry Clarke. The large convent building is behind the church in Green Street Dingle. There is a chapel with some very impressive windows by Harry Clarke. Separately there are three large fresco cycles by the American artist Eleanor Yates which feature local people as models. We found it very interesting.
I think 3 Euro admission and the staff were very welcoming and informative telling us about the history of the building

I went to this place and really enjoyed the stained glass, the Chapel of the Sacred Heart and the various paintings. The one of the Last Supper containing both men from Dingle as well as Dingle scenes in the background was really interesting. I was practically the only one there on my visit. Very cool.

THERESA is such a lovely lady, helpful and friendly. See photos of Nano Angle and the Harry Clark windows. The Last Supper Fresco is amazing, using local people to depict the apostles! Visit the Gardens next door and see the old carved trunk hidden in the garden and the 150yr-old beech tree. Such a lovely morning out. Well recommended. Thank you to everyone. ENJOY!

I have been to An Diseart many times. I would suggest renting the headphones to listen to on your visit. The explanations of the Harry Clarke windows make it so much more interesting than just looking at them. The Nano Nagle room in the Diseart is not to be missed. She led quite a life and the paintings of her life story on the walls are just breathtaking. An Diseart should not be missed.

For a very reasonable fee, we enjoyed the artwork and history. The brochures really helped explain the background and history. Also happened to have an art show while we were there.
