Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very informative tour guide. Made the whole experience well worth the trip. The hour passed very quickly and got great views from the sea

We nearly missed the boat and are so glad we didn’t.
3 hour trip passed quite quickly. Our guide was great. Local knowledge and stories were informative and fun. For a good 20 minutes we had dolphins around the boat. There were a few puffins too. On the beach of the Blasket Islands we saw seals and sheep right next to each other. Can’t say I’ve seen that before.
I recommend Dingle Boat Tours 😎

I love working with Mary in organising my student groups to go to the Blaskets Islands. She is always friendly and professional, easy to work with, flexible when my plans change..sometimes at the last minute. The boat journey is always fun, Tom (the boat captain) is always very welcoming and good 'craic', part of the trip is getting a wonderful and informative eco-tour while getting to/from the island..so much to learn about the sea/and sky..i would give them 10/10 from start to finish whether with a group or an individual. The tour was awesome!
The boat was quite speedy going over the waves, which made for a rollercoaster-like experience.
We saw all that was advertised except whales, which unfortunately don‘t appear to be seasonal in July.
Our guide was great - very informative, nice and humorous!

Definitely recommend wearing a lot of layers of clothing and water-resistant footwear. It will get cold and the tour is quite long.

Fantastic boat tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and also had a sense of humour. Really nice tour around the harbour and peninsula. Would highly recommend. We were lucky to see dolphins too!

We booked a 2 hour dolphin tour as a family of 4 with kids age 8 and 12. It was great that we were able to see dolphins on the trip. However we had been assured that the guide would provide lots of interesting commentary on the tour. We were excited to learn more about the history of the area around dingle and its marine life. The guide unfortunately only provided commentary for about 5-10% of the trip. Although he said he would be available for questions he was upstairs with the captain for most of the trip, where passengers could not go. I could hear a sporting event they were listening to upstairs. Less than halfway through the trip most of the passengers were either sleeping or looking at their phones.

Many passengers were smoking and it was impossible to get away from smelling the smoke. They were also throwing their cigarette butts in the ocean. The company should consider a no smoking policy.

Absolutely amazing! The views took my breath away! We also got to see puffins, dolphins, seals, deer, and other marine life. Declan was knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of the place. Originally, we were hesitant to drive back to Dingle to take the boat ride when we were heading towards Galway that evening but it was 100% worth it. Please don’t skip this!!

Tour was good, boat not crowded, good narration, saw dolphin and puffins. Trip Advisor, not so good. NEVER got any email on directions or tickets. Will not use again for booking!

This is a must do. The boat trip combines human history, natural history and geographic wonders. Our captain/guide Sean was a delight, and could answer any question you could think of, and there is so much beauty In Dingle, you just owe it to yourself to see it from the sea.

We'd like to thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review, however unfortunately this is Dingle Boat Tours and it seems you went with a different company. We are delighted to hear that you had such a wonderful time in Dingle.

Fantastic way to both see and experience the Irish coastline from a different angle. Declan was very informative with history and local tales.
