Absolutely wonderful, A+ experience, a highlight of my vacation in Ireland. The electric bike rental was the best way to see the beautiful Slea Head loop. The views were breathtaking and it was easy to pull over and stop along the way. When we arrived to pick up the bikes, John asked about our plans and interests and he created custom itinerary on a map of local sights for us. He also clearly marked the route with road signs, landmarks, and turns, based on the length of ride we chose. We visited historical beehive forts, had lunch at Cafe Na Tra, visited the Dun Chaoin pier, and made a stop at Krugers pub. The electric assist made the hills easy to climb for a person of average fitness. If you are thinking of this, Just go ahead and sign up.

Yes, John is entertaining and gives you great advice!
I don't think there is a better way to experience the area than this. Go ahead and cheat and turn the bike all the way up, and enjoy! The trip is amazing and biking it is way more impactful than riding in a car (or bus!), so rent one of these and get it done! Cars are respectful and you never feel like you are going to get hit- I guess they are used to it and everyone looks out for you. Take your time and go explore. You will want to be in "decent" shape for this, but you should worry more about being "saddle-sore" than your burning quads- the bike actually helps more if you don't pedal as fast (in my experience). I recommend you park them whenever something grabs your interest, and go explore it and come back. John is super relaxed and helpful, if you need him!

Hired an electric bike from John yesterday to cycle around Slea Head. John was a pleasure to deal with and the bike I was given was in excellent condition, fully charged it took me effortlessly around the coastline for the day, we were blessed with the weather but cycling an electric bike around was a joy and a brilliant way to enjoy this incredible journey. Can I recommend stopping at the Blasket Visitor Centre, this newly refurbished centre is stunning, a really interesting place to spend some time learning about the Island

This would have received an excellent review other than one issue. When the bikes were delivered, we were told that we had to give them back two hours early to be serviced. When we broached the subject of a refund (as we were losing one quarter of the rental time we had paid for), John was extremely dismissive and would not even discuss this. He just laughed it off and got into his van. We found this extremely condescending, and this was compounded by him making a further joke of it on collection of the bikes.
Due to the lost 2 hours, we did not have time to stop for lunch during the day. We met other cyclists using the electric bikes who were losing even more time, as they were having their bikes collected even earlier than us. He offered them no refund either; he charged everyone full price for less than the full experience they paid for upfront.
It would have been much appreciated to have notice of this change of plan 24 hours in advance such that we could have amended our plans, or at least have been offered a refund for the time we were unable to use the bikes. We were all very dissatisfied with this customer service.

That said, the bikes were an excellent way to see the Dingle Peninsula. If you are planning to do the full 60km loop, definitely choose the electric ones. They're a great aid for the hills and particularly in the latter parts of the journey when you're tired.

The bikes arrived on time. John gave a thorough demonstration and provides helmets which were adjustable to all sizes. The bikes were in good condition though two were missing bells.

Overall we would recommend it but as above, we were left feeling dismissed and cheated by John himself.

The most enjoyable way to explore the Dingle Peninsula! John was incredibly kind and shared his knowledge of all the wonderful stops along the way. It is advisable to start your journey early in the day to take advantage of the lighting and weather conditions. We can't wait to go again!

Best part of our Ireland experience! I think we logged about 30 miles around the Dingle Peninsula...every mile of it beautiful! We rented the electric bikes and thank goodness we did. The ebikes give you just a little bit of a push when you need it. It was myself (mom - 52) and two of my kiddos (ages 21 and 18). They also agree that it was the best part of the trip. The gentleman we rented from was also a hoot and I felt safe that if anything went awry, he would come to our rescue! Plan to start early so that you can visit all the suggested sites and pubs. Because of our bus and train schedules we only had about four hours to tour. Definitely would start by 9 in the morning for a full day of exploring the next time!

Well this was a wonderful experience . John was ever so helpful , what a lovely pleasant man , we contacted him the night before , as it was early Feb , the facility is not open, but he arranged to open up and provide us with electric bikes the next day , with helmets ,high vis jackets , and an extensive run down on how to get around the peninsula . The electric bike at 50 euro each was well worth it , makes the bike ride so much more pleasant … plenty of stops around the coast to get something gm to eat or drink .
Have a go .. it’s worth it !

So much fun! My partner and I had the best day taking these ebikes for a spin around Dingle. John was super helpful in laying out our route, providing navigation tips, and showing us how to use the bikes before we took off. He highlighted places to stop and visit along the way, including the Blasket Center interpretive museum, which was one of our favorite stops! Between the sheer fun of zipping around on the ebikes themselves, and seeing all of the breathtaking sights, this was one unforgettable experience! Cannot recommend enough if you visit Dingle :)

What a lovely company. We rented two bikes and a child seat to drive out to Ventry beach, and John went out of his way to make us and our toddler feel comfortable. Top notch service and a great way to explore Dingle. Thank you!!!

We had a brilliant day riding our electric bikes along Slea Head road, the weather was challenging but this just added to the fun, by bike is definitely the way to do it. Don't be put off worrying about riding on the roads, at no time did we feel worried by the traffic. John was friendly and extremely helpful.
