I cannot recommend Dingle Sea Safari enough it's a definite must do... Colm our skipper gave us the most exhilarating trip in large swells from Dingle Bay to the Blasket islands visiting and entering caves along the way and telling us all the geology and history of the peninsula. Stopping at great Blasket to view the seals and their pups and then making our way out to find a huge pod of common dolphin... Fantastic day will definitely do it again and again and again!

We weren't sure what to expect on a very grey morning when we went for the 8am Up Close and Personal tour but we very much loved every second! Caught lots of really close up sightings of Fungie soon after we departed the harbour but he was a bit busy getting his breakfast at first. As we left the bay we were taken on a lovely tour of the beautiful Kerry coastline, out into the caves before we returned to see more of Fungie. By then Fungie had really woken up after a good breakfast and decide to put on a big show for us, including big jumps out of the water. Cian, our guide had a great rapport with Fungie and knew how to coax Fungie out. He also gave us very interesting insight into Fungie himself and the local coastline. It was quite cold, even at 15°C, so make sure you wrap up warm but Dingle Sea Safari gave us heavy coats which we really appreciated. The whole experience was fabulous and the highlight of our trip to Kerry!

We LOVED our Sea Safari tour! The scenery was beautiful, going inside the caves was incredible, and we saw so much marine life! We saw dozens and dozens of dolphins, and got to see them up close to the boat and racing along side and making fabulous leaps in the air. We also saw a great number of grey seals out near the blasket islands. We also got to see a minke whale! We saw a few puffins, as they were nearing the end of their season, so that was a treat. It was a fun and incredible adventure and one of our very favorite things from our entire trip. Our young adult sons thoroughly enjoyed the tour as much as we did, and I highly recommend it!

The six of us had a phenomenal three hours on our very fast (33 knots) ten seat RIB in the capable hands of Captain Jimmy. We spotted Fungie on the way out, but the delights of the sea cave under Slea Head, the seals on The Great Blanket were merely the warm up for what lay further out to sea. We witnessed a virtuoso show from a huge Humpback whale at a distance of 30m, saw several Minke whales and were accompanied put & in by innumerable dolphins.

The high speed return to Dingle was exhilarating and the buzz we all felt for the rest of the day will live long in our memories.

Simply the best activity for all of us together that we have ever enjoyed in Ireland and worth every cent.

What an experience. From beginning to end a perfect way to spend three action packed hours. We were supplied with high end wet gear (very necessary ) and left jackets. The boat is in perfect condition and skippered (by Connor ) who seems to know every nook and cranny along the Dingle peninsula. We saw all that was promised, seals by the thousand, basking shark and dolphins. Lots of speed, lots of splashing and great views. Brilliant value for money!!!

Excellent boat trip. Boat driver was a top class sailor and host, really friendly and very knowledgeable. Sea a bit choppy but boat is steady and safe. Great fun riding the waves. Beautiful scenery. Got lucky and saw Funghi and a colony of seals in the Blasket Islands. Two teenagers where delighted with the experience and they loved getting a bit wet with sea water splashing on them. Very enjoyable 3 hours.

This was my third time on the Dingle Sea safari and I can’t get enough. This particular trip followed several days of storm activity and the ride alone was worth the ticket price. Despite the rough seas we all had a great time. We saw more wildlife than I expected given the conditions. Colm, our captain, did a great job of making everyone feel safe and ensured a good time for all. I can’t wait to go again when I am in Dingle next year.

The Dingle Sea Safari was one of our favorite activities while on vacation in Ireland this month. We were scheduled on the 13th, but due to bad weather moving in they called and rescheduled us for the 12th in the afternoon. What a wonderful experience. We saw a humpback whale, lots of dolphins and a mince whale, we also visited some of the outer islands. The water was a bit too rough to go into the sea caves, but the whole experience was exhilarating and wonderful. We'd highly recommend it. Also, they provided rubber pants and insulated jackets so you didn't feel the cold.

Absolutely amazing! Jimmy was an excellent tour guide, he was extremely informative and very friendly! During our trip, we were able to see a Minke Whale, Dolphins, Puffins, and Seals. The views of the Blasket Islands were stunning! Jimmy was wonderful about answering all the questions we had and stopped the boat so the dolphins could swim alongside us. I highly recommend going on this tour, it was such a delight!

We got a really nice weather and therefore could visit caves, which are normally not reachable. We were also lucky and saw (just beginning of the season) a bunch of dolphins (families with their baby’s). So amazing! 🐬 The guide spotted them very quick and follow them for a while so that we could enjoy them and made our pictures/videos. Besides dolphins, we saw a large group of seals 🦭 which seemed to be happy 😍 to see the boat 🚤 after a 6-month break again.
The guide was very friendly and answered to all our questions while watching the animals or the beautiful landscape view from the boat.
It was a really nice & highly recommendable experience — especially when the sun ☀️ is shining!
