About Dingle Sea Safari
Since 2017 Dingle Sea Safari offers a genuinely unique tour which showcases the magnificent scenery and wildlife of the Dingle Peninsula from Dingle Bay right out to the Blasket Islands. A typical trip takes two and a half hours and can only be properly experienced on the high-class and fast moving vessels which we operate. The qualified and experienced skipper/guide on the vessel provides information on the history, geology and traditions and folklore of the various features along the route. Knowledge of the wonderful bird and sea life is also provided as encounters take place with puffins, gannets, razorbills, shearwaters, guillemots, seals, dolphins (including bottlenose, common and Risso’s) as well as seals, minke, humpback and fin whales along with Bluefin tuna. As a result of the comfort and speed of our vessels many of the above birds, cetaceans and fish can be encountered on a single trip and this has all contributed to the growing success of Dingle Sea Safari.

The tour was just wonderful. Captain very kind and rich of interesting information! Unfortunately the lovely dolphin Fungi disappeared in October 2020 but there are many others that you can see meanwhile sailing! We saw grey seals colony, red deers on the rocks, wild sheep… They provide you warm clothes to wear on yours as protection and they’re super kind!! The colours of the sea mixing with the green fields, the sky and the grey rocks will astonish you! I’ll advise this experience to everyone!

The entire experience was great. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about each of the stops on the tour. If you are even considering doing this safari....just do it, you won't regret it. The coast is simply stunning and you will never see it the way you will from the water.

Exhilarating ride combined with awesome wildlife and spectacular scenery. Local skippers who really know their area and history. So good I did it twice. Seals dolphins and whales all in their native habitat combined with the beautiful Dingle coastline. Wet weather gear is supplied as are lifejackets. Families need to be aware that there is an age limit and it can be wet though that adds to the fun. I wholeheartedly recommend this trip

We were expecting bad weather, but we still got to see dolphins and seals as well as lots of sea birds and a couple of caves with amazing rock formations. Colm has great knowledge about geology, local history and sea life. Would highly recommend this trip.

Excellent experience. Michael the skipper/guide is lovely and knows everything about dingle and all the village and the islands. Great to see the common dolphins, seals and minke whales. The caves are beautiful. Highly recommend. Worth the price. I love the fact that they don’t interfere with the wildlife - if you see it you see it - in other countries they would use tactics to encourage the wildlife to be there.
