I toured Ireland for two weeks with my son and daughter-in-law. Although it’s difficult to say what I enjoyed the most, two days of touring with Mossie definitely tops the list! We did full day tours of the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. Mossie’s knowledge as well as his sense of humor, stories from his childhood, breaking into song, all combined for two wonderful days! We would never have been able to take advantage of our time there without him.

We had an amazing two weeks in Ireland that included a three day hike along the Kerry Way, but the real highlight was the morning we spent with Helen, of Mossie's Tours, on a private tour of Slea Head, near the town of Dingle. We spent a lovely rainy morning touring ancient Irish sites and Helen was so knowledgable and fun to spend time with that we treasured every minute. She knew so much, and we were able to get a sense of the history of the area too. Highly recommended.

Our tour with Mossie was one of the best experiences our family’s two weeks in Ireland. We were four adults, three sisters and a spouse, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time with Mossie.
He drove us around Dingle in a new, very comfortable van. His guidance removed the stress of decision-making and driving… we could all just enjoy our time together, and the beauty and history of the area. Mossie shared openly about his life, giving us great perspective about the history and culture of the peninsula, and about Ireland.
The time with Mossie passed way too quickly, and included a hike, a walk a beautiful beach, historical sites, and great natural beauty. The price was a bargain for all we gained, and I am very, very glad that we toured with Mossie.

From our initial email inquiry in January until he dropped us off after two days of touring in early May, our time with Mossie was simply fantastic! Touring the Slea Head Peninsula and Ring of Kerry with Mossie was definitely the highlight of our first trip to Ireland. Mossie is a gifted tour guide! He is extremely knowledgeable about his home and shares information in a way that is interesting and even entertaining. What sets him apart from other guides, however, are his “people skills.” He is intuitive and quickly assesses the kind of tour a person wants; he is responsible - you know you can trust him with tour logistics and your safety; and he genuinely seems to enjoy being with you. Mossie is unhurried, engaged, and enthusiastic about his home. When it came time for us to leave, Helen drove us to the train station, and she gave us a warm send-off. What a lovely couple they are! In the future, I will highly recommend Dingle and tours with Mossie and Helen. to my friends who are traveling to Ireland. Heartfelt thanks to both of them for the gift of beautiful memories!

Mossie’s tours is the ONLY way to do Ireland. Mossie and Helen are not only incredible humans, but their knowledge of Ireland is infinite. They will tailor your entire tour based on the things you are interested in- they will tell you anything you want to know about the history of Ireland. Everything is based on your preferences rather than a set itinerary. Words can’t describe how incredible my experience was with them. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! BOOK THEM NOW!

Helen Higgins drove us to the most stunning and historical sites of Slea Head, Dingle Peninsula! Could not have had a better driver or more knowledgeable local showing us the best of the best!

My friend and I took a half day Dingle Peninsula tour with Helen. She was so personable, knowledgeable, and a joy to be around. We learned so much about the history and culture of the Peninsula and saw so many beautiful sights. I would recommend Helen to anyone who wants an amazing experience with a personal touch,

Mossie was one of the best guides I’ve ever had while traveling! He was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and patient. He took me and my three friends around Slea Head Drive, providing us ample opportunities to stop for views and to learn about important local landmarks. He even let us stop by Coumeenoole Beach for a quick dip since the weather was unusually warm and sunny.
It’s clear that he loves what he does and it shows! Cannot recommend enough.

For two days, Mossie and wonderful Helen guided us down the Dingle Peninsula (the first day) and on the way to the Cliffs of Moher (the second day). We had lots of fun and heard lots of interesting stories about the region and the country. Mossie’s and Helen’s passion for the history of Ireland is amazing. They also have a deep knowledge of the region, which allowed us to save time (and money!) to see what was really worthwhile. And, of course, be aware that Mossie is a musical star and will sing some traditional songs along the way (we became the official founders of the Mossie Fan Club!) At the end of the trip, get ready for a special surprise, full of affection. Thank you, Mossie and Helen for the wonderful experience. Already miss you and Ireland. Pedro & Sergio

Helen gave us a great tour. She has excellent knowledge of the history of the area. It was a last minute tour because the weather forced us to switch our tour to a day earlier but our original tour guide was not available. Helen stepped up and was so kind, personable and easy to talk to. It was such an enjoyable tour and that was all because of Helen!
