About Wild SUP Tours
Venture out into Dingle Harbour, hugging the coastline in order to explore the various environments to be found there, from wetlands, to woodlands, to rocky sea caves and cliffs. Each habitat offering different opportunities to see a wide variety of wildlife. On any given tour there may be a chance to see curlew, egret, snipe, and grey heron, or jelly fish, seals, and dolphins. The list could go on and on as the harbour is also a sought after destination for migrating birds. Stand up paddle boarding offers a wonderful way to explore as it is non-invasive for the environment, easy to do and allows the paddler to truly immerse themselves in the area. As well as being fun and relaxing it also provides a much needed time out from the chaos of daily life. A tour with Wild SUP Tours offers the opportunity to experience the harbour from a qualified ecologist’s point of view. Ed Lacey, BSc Environmental Protection, as our tour guide, has over 25 years of experience in watersports and extensive knowledge of the harbour. The tour will offer up a wealth of information and observations that will have you walking away with a broader understanding of the intricacies of a fully functioning ecosystem and a lasting memory to take home. These tours will give the public a different perspective of the harbour. Offering a new way to see the birds and the bees and allowing for the exploration of the lesser seen corners of the bay. With top of the line equipment and a qualified instructor, these tours are safe, fun and accessible to anyone willing to try. All you need to bring is water, sun screen, a towel, your swim suit and yourself! Please note that stand up paddle boarding is a weather dependant activity. Confirm all tours are running as scheduled beforehand.

We always wanted to try SUP and I couldn't imagine a better introduction to it! We would absolutely come back to do it again. Oona and Ed were fantastic and very friendly, gave us a proper breakdown of what we were going to be doing and made us feel really ready and able. Once we were out the wind picked up a tad but Oona was a superstar, and made us all feel really safe and kept us smiling the whole time! They're so friendly you forget you're on an actual tour! If you're ever looking to try SUP these guys are an absolute must to go to! Can't wait to come back and do it again.

We had the best ever experience with Oona and Ed on our half-day SUPfari! It is suitable for people with any or no experience of SUP. Oona was outstanding with the instructions and the way she helped us enjoy our little adventure even on a particularly windy day. And Ed was amazing with getting us all ready and keeping an eye on us from the coast. It's definitely one of the best ways to spend a day in Dingle. Very highly recommended! We'll definitely be going back for more!

Always wanted to try SUP and booked it with Wild SUP Tours which was just fantastic start to finish!! Highly recommend these guys for doing any type of SUP with them. Ed and Una are fabulous, super patient with excellent guidance all the way and were juggling childcare of their adorable Roan which only added to our fun experience, these guys are making it work. We were all beginners and managed to get in some very decent SUP in Dingle not knee boarders amongst us. We were delighted and definitely would book them again and likely tell every soul who wants to hear to book it with them!! A must book with these guys!

It was fun to explore part of Kenmare Bay on the SUP board, with 3 nights of wild camping overnight on both shores of the bay (the Iveragh and the Beara peninsulas). We were paddling long distances in a relaxed pace with enough time to enjoy the beautiful landscape and had fun in the evening around the camp fire and visiting nice country pubs. Oona and Ed are very professional guides and planned the trip perfectly. It was yet another fun experience with them.

I joined the SUPfari in Dingle last weekend. I had wanted to try SUP for a while but wasn't so confident in my ability to stay on the board - Ed and Oona were so friendly and chilled out I quickly forgot about my worries! A really beautiful way to enjoy a really beautiful place in and so peaceful - I would highly recommend checking out Wild SUP tours to anyone visiting Dingle. Thanks Ed, Oona and Roan for making it so enjoyable!
