Nice peaceful church. Sanitized & they restrict numbers. It was nice to pop into & say a little prayer in this current climate.

this church has beautiful archetectural features within as well as noteworthy painting and statues. Definitely worth stopping in to look around and sit for a moment of reflection and prayer.

What a lovely spot in Kenmare. The stained glass is unique and very beautiful. The location of the church is so peaceful. A practicing church, it is a gem in this lovely town. Just a quick visit will bring you peace.

The stained glass window behind the alter is breathtaking! We attended Saturday evening Mass which is at 8:00 p.m. While the church was full, we didn't feel crowded.

It is a nice church, but there are plenty like this in Ireland. Same style, same architecture. In the center of the town.

Holy Cross church was built in 1819 and enlarged in 1876. It is about a block or 2 from the center of the town. The inside has arched columns with a wood lattice ceiling and fancy wooden balcony at the back of the church for the organ. There is a small cemetery plot outside. This church was consecrated in 1864.

Built in 1864 this Catholic Church is a small classically designed church. The interior has some of the features you can still enjoy - the windows, the wooden interior, the the carved alter. A quiet spot that seems to be open during most days. And for Catholics - bring a small plastic container and you can fill it with holy water.

While staying in Kenmare, we attended Saturday evening mass. The architecture is stunning and the clergy hospitable. The detail inside is interesting, the stained glass windows are beautiful and well worth the short walk from the town center.
