Built in 1864 this Catholic Church is a small classically designed church. The interior has some of the features you can still enjoy - the windows, the wooden interior, the the carved alter. A quiet spot that seems to be open during most days. And...More

While staying in Kenmare, we attended Saturday evening mass. The architecture is stunning and the clergy hospitable. The detail inside is interesting, the stained glass windows are beautiful and well worth the short walk from the town center.

Gorgeous church. Walk in and look up. The ceiling work is dark wood, carved in Bavaria and lined with angels. The marble altar is gorgeous, the stained glass windows brilliant and inspiring.

A pleasant church to sit and speak quietly to whomever your God is! The stained glass window behind the altar is beautiful as are the stations of the cross.

We generally don't bother with religious sites but actually enjoyed walking through this church. During the potato famine the nuns taught girls how to make lace so that they could earn some money. Examples are on view at the lace museum next to the tourist...More
