When we were staying in Kenmare, we came across this place by accident. It is fascinating and well worth a visit. The previous review says it all, except for mentioning the delicious homemade ice cream which is amazing.

We stayed there and walked around. In general it is free to walk along the lanes in the garden. Nearby down The Valley is also Stone fort and stone ring etc. This is a couple of Euro. For us 10 Euro for the whole family.

I already answered the question..see above. BUT I can also say that the scenic shots all around the place is also worthy of a stop even if the shop is not open.
