If you are driving from Kenmare south through the mountains, this is a perfect stop on your way. The family run location is completely authentic and well worth an hour of your time. The gift shop is full of traditional Irish items and we spent more here than any where else! And addition you can walk around and see buildings... More

To get a true flavor of old Ireland you must visit Molly's. It was so interesting to see how things were done. The host, Stephen and his family were so cordial, The Irish dinner was very well prepared and the demonstration and sampling of the poitin was wonderful. We left with a warm feeling for this place.

We stopped here on our way from Kenmare to Glengarriff on a rainy day in August and were delighted that we did. The place is much bigger than the outside suggests with small rooms and alcoves fully of gifts, sweaters, scarves etc. It also provides some very nice tea/coffee and home bakes which we availed of. The staff are very... More

We were leaving our B&B in Kenmare and driving down to Mizen Head, when Molly's pulled us off the road with its Irish cottage appeal. Once inside, we browsed the gift shop. We quickly realized there were items here that were a little more unique and seemingly authentic than the other ones we'd encountered in our circle around the Emerald... More

We have been visiting Ireland for about 30 years and can honestly say without a doubt this is one the best nights we have been to. Is well worth a visit.

The cottage is a must see if you're in the area. Lovingly restored traditional farm with an excellent hike available across the street. If you can make it to one of the evening events, I highly recommend attending. We went to the Homecoming night and were treated to a wonderful evening of authentic Irish cuisine, poitin, and amusing entertainment by... More

Very well done. The staff is great and are all local to Bonane. The farm is interesting and the shop has great stuff. Make sure to eat in the cafe all items are freshly baked. Great views from across the road.

This is a worthwhile visit if you're staying in the kenmare area . Only a short drive out to it with lovely scenery on route. The old house gives you a nice feel of what it was like in old times in Ireland. The farm and walk is average but worth spending an hour or so to visit here overall.
