Played a rd of golf here while holidaying in Kerry. A short enough links course. Had 2 eagle chances and I'm not a big hitter. Course was in fantastic quality. Only tiny downside was that it was hard enough follow holes from the score card.

My favourite little links course in all the world. Never the same twice. Always in fantastic condition and great value for money.

Castlegregory must have one of the most beautiful settings of any golf course anywhere, with sweeping views of sea, lake and mountains. A links, it makes full use of the undulating dunes which shape it. It’s not very long but requires accuracy and can be challenging when a strong west wind blows.

My self and my brother played this little gem last week. Even the heatwave could not spoil this fabulous days golf. From the moment we arrived to be greeted by a wonderful young lady (Unfortunately I forgot my manners and never found out her name but she knows who she is) having the local rules explained and good lines to take. From the first wonderful par 5 to the closing par 3 it was a fabulous experience with some of the most stunning views on ant golf course. If your ever in the area play this gem. Thanks to everyone in this fabulous course. We'll be back again soon

My husband was wanting to golf in Ireland and we found this wonderful links course! It’s a 9 hole and full of character! The course is located right by the ocean which brings the calm breezes along to play! The ladies were so nice to us and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great game!

As a golf nut, my visit to this stunning 9 hole course every August is my main chillaxing event of the year. Its views are imply outstanding; you get a 'full in the face' load of fresh air; a warm welcome; reasonable fees and the course is always in a great condition.

Its a challenge if you've not played the course before, and even if you know you're way around, its never the same twice due to the weather that seems to change every hour!! However, its a an enjoyable challenge that must be experienced.
Go give it a go!

What a delightful challenging nine holes and the best thing is you get to play it twice and correct your errors from the first time round BUT
Being Ireland the weather will have changed and it's all different
The par threes are really challenging and long into wind on two of them playing 200 + into a wind that knocks a high ball out of the sky into a hollow which needs a very good chip to get out of
Super course
I would like to see the markers on the blind drives to be better marked
The one on the sixth nearly impossible to see
Greens very good and hard
Great day out with excellent pub food close by

A nine hole course that should not be missed!
Played in wind made the course very challenging, however that is the beauty of the course! Situated right next to the beach it needs some protection against erosion as otherwise a classic will be lost in time.
Hopefully some rocks can be placed on the beach to keep from loosing this gem.
The clubhouse is run by the local members and these sort of courses are as important as the famous ones in the area.

Come over for dinner with us said the other half to an elderly uncle settled in nearby Killarney as we holidayed self catering in Castlegregory village.
Not being shy he duely accepted but winked slyly to me ....and I'll bring a second set of clubs..ive a trwat in store for you before we eat...and so it was i was introduced to this local 9 hole links course...he being a single handicapper in contrast to your truely i took pevert pleasure in seeing him struggle with the courses hidden but intriguing challenges...it made me feel good to be certain...we came for more the following day even if bacchus and its influence was now an unwelcome companion!!!
