Visited Matlock Farm Park after buying a deal online (a family of four ticket for £10), and to be honest, I'm quite glad I didn't pay full price for it! Granted it wasn't the best of weather, but during half term, you do expect places like this to be a bit busier. There were few animals in the paddocks and... More

A total waste of time and money. Most animals not available to pet or see. Shop overpriced and understocked. The activities were not on yet advertised. How they have a certificate of excellence from trip advisor I don't know. NEVER AGAIN.

Visited on Sunday as they had a reptile day and the kids love reptiles. The selection of snakes and lizards was fantastic and the staff had a great knowledge of what they were talking about. Brilliantly interactive day out.

We absolutely love this place and are regular visitors , the staff are really helpful and very knowledgable of the animals that are there , the animals are really well cared for and you can handle the smaller animals at any time , there's special sessions where reptiles are on show . Way back when our daughter was tiny this was a small farm park. Now much bigger & better. We went on a damp, dull, Sunday afternoon about two weeks ago (Jan 2017). We had a great time!! Most people left after lunch, I'm guessing because of the weather, so the whole place was lovely & quiet. Different play areas on... More

We spent less than an hour here as there was not much to do and it certainly wasn't worth the £12 entry fee. The 'small animal barn' is a few rabbits in hutches. Food in the cafe was poor and overpriced.

We think this one is a bit unfair and could mislead you into believing we only have rabbits and charge an admission of £12/person to see them. When in fact at the time of this review, our Winter offer would have been on, where £12 would have bought you entry for a family of 4, giving an average entrance price... More

Not a lot to do there, not many animals there and needs a refresh. Went to see Santa, was in and out in about 2 minutes. Was quite expensive and had to pay extra for animal food which for the price should be included. Also had a drink there, got a childs hot chocolate that was too hot for a... More

First visit to Matlock farm park and we will definatley be returning! Good value for money, the cafe served lovely food. Even an indoor area with crafts and a bouncy castle. Great to see all the different animals. Staff were friendly and accommodating :)
