Having seen the crooked spire on TV many times it was fascinating to see it "in the flesh" The Parish Church it sits on is a beatiful, very well maintained building, and well worth a visit.

We enjoyed our visit here, it is a large Church and the tower tour if you are fit enough was good. The stewards were friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Visiting on a bank holiday meant that there was extra tower tours and also someone playing the piano which added to the atmosphere. The flowers for Easter were also atractive

This Medieval church has an impressive interior and includes excellent stained glass, however, it is World famed because of the twisted Spire. The cause of this twist is thought by today's historian to relate to the lead that covers the structure twisting in the sunshine. Whatever the reason, the Spire, considered to have been added to the Tower in about... More

This is hard to miss when traveling through the region. Worth the time to stop off and take a closer look on foot.

Have visited the spire several times as the building is amazing and there is so much history to it, every time I visit I see something different. I went on a tour up the spire costing approx £4 was the best £4 spent! Views when you get to the top are amazing! Deffo worth a visit!
