I was the organizer of the group golfing excursion with tee times and equipment rentals. Excellent and prompt communication by the staff and what an excellent value for 18 holes of golf on the beautiful Old Course. Highly recommend!

Dropped back into the club as I am a former member to visit the pro shop for a couple of pieces of kit and clothing. What a great place with the prices and range of golf equipment. The best part was how Ian was so warm and welcoming. We had a good chat about the changes to the club since I had been away. I walked in to buy a few bits and pieces and left with a friend. Looking to renew my membership as it has given me the spark to get back into my golf and try to rejoin the community at Portstewart. Well done to all.

I’ve never been welcomed to a course quite like my visit to Portstewart. The entire team was extremely nice and helpful. I played 36 holes and it was one of my favorite golf days ever. The course is a must play course when visiting Northern Ireland. The front nine is stunning and the back nine is going to be amazing as well when they finish their work soon.

I wanted to share that I had a fantastic round of golf today and how happy I was to have Gary McCafferty as my caddie. He was welcoming and displayed knowledgeable of both the course and how to shape my abilities to play slightly above my best round ever on such a difficult course. In addition he shared so much about the history of the course, the area and the landscape around us to make it my most memorable round in Northern Ireland as well as Ireland. Hope to come back soon and if so would be privileged to have Gary as my caddie.

Played yesterday and had one of the most enjoyable days of golf I’ve had in my life. The course was superb and the staff was great. One of the best parts was my caddy, Chris. Having Chris as my caddy made my experience far more enjoyable. He knew every inch of the course and was great to talk to during the round and gave me excellent advice throughout the day. It’s a round of golf I will remember for the rest of my life.

What a great place, very warm welcome and introduction to course and clubhouse…. Then onto the Strand, great challenge with so many awesome views. So good the 4 seasons in a round did not seem to matter!! Everyone we came into contact with were a credit to the club. Thanks for the experience we hope to return.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. Ricky on the 1st tee, the staff in the halfway house. But above all was Ian in the pro shop. He didn’t stop smiling, was o friendly, welcoming and helpful. It’s people like this that makes the whole experience of visiting the worlds top golf courses more enjoyable.
