Having lived in NI all my life this was the first visit to Mussenden. What a great spot for a day out. There are plenty of walks around the Temple and some interesting information about this former Grand homestead. It can be a bit chilly as it is right on the coast and quite eerie when you look out the... More

On a busy day it can be hard to get parking. Best avoid major holidays! Really nice place to visit. A nice garden and woods to walk through. The temple is lovely to walk around. Some stunning views over the sea and a good view of Ireland. Inside the temple isn't as impressive. Mostly just brick walls. The house is... More

It was 20 years ago when we were last here and its still well worth it. The walk around the grounds out to the temple is very natural and the views of Downhill and Castlerock are outstanding. The Temple is open and you really can understand how it was a great landmark when it was first erected. We also enjoyed... More

This former library is a dream and totally worth the hike to the edge of the cliff. We were lucky to be the only people there at the time and were able to fully enjoy the views and serenity of the place. Loved it.

Spent a comfortable hour walking from the car park to the Temple then onto the ruins of Downhill Demises and enjoying the spectacular cliff top views and looking down onto the beaches that stretch for miles. No surprise that the area featured in the Game of Thrones series.

This is a great little find. I saw this in a travel guide book in my hotel room. We had gone up to Northern Ireland spur of the moment and only knew of a few attractions. The Temple is situated on a cliff side you have great views of the beach and railroad tracks from here. The grounds are really... More

Recently visited Mussenden Temple and was very impressed. The walk around the temple was brilliant and the views across the sea breathtaking. Will definitely return, well worth a visit
