We walk regularly on the tow path and it's one of our favourite local places, usually very peaceful and easy walking on a flat, well maintained surface. I also cycle there. Moneypenny's lock is a few miles from Tesco carpark or it can be accessed...More

Great little walk to and back from here. Very quiet and not many people about. Great place to head if you want some peace and quiet. If you're lucky, you might get to see a little kingfisher bird.

I am a social member and find it a very enjoyable place to frequent staff and members are very friendly and bar rices are reasonable also
