Castle ruins at the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean. Great location - very picturesque. Cost is minimal to stroll the grounds. Parking can be a little tight. Perfect castle ruins; it's worth the visit.

We love ruined castles much more than those that are still in perfect condition. This is a great example of what mother nature and time can do to a building. It is just £5 entry and you get a map of the site and there...More

As we drove around a curve of the coastal road, there it was! Big and imposing, the ruin is being maintained for visitors to experience for a low entry fee. Videos and a mock-up of how the town and castle once looked gives you an...More

Although from the outside this looks a large castle, it is really modest in size. This makes it easy for one to get your mind around what it was like to live in a castle. This one ticks all the boxes for a young, active...More

We stopped here on the way to Giants Causeway and are glad we did. There is a small Visitors Center and a brief film to get you acquainted with the site. It's a self guided tour among the ruins so you have to use your...More

We didn't pay to go in but you can still get a good view of the castle exterior and the coast from the outer walking area. Worth a stop and it is on the way to Portrush.

This is one of the best castles I have ever been to. Entry price very reasonable, guide sheet useful and informative, children's room very interactive, shop not full of tat. This does not even cover the castle and grounds which were outstanding. So well preserved...More

The weather was spotty the day we went, but there were good views and there were a few sunny moments. Worth the visit. The history of the castle was very interesting. Suggest you look it up or wait to read about it there.

We were there on a rainy, windy day but the site is mesmerizing. We were lucky it was citizen's day and no admission fee. The site is very well maintained and beautiful. It is used by many wedding photographers. Must visit.

Not everyone enjoys or appreciates ruins but if you do then definitely stop here. While I wish there was better signage around the property, the ruin is extensive and well preserved. The movie in the Discovery Room was enough to get us started and having...More

It was very cold and windy on the day we visited - it certainly would not have wifi at the castle as they are only ruins. Cannot comment on the tea rooms as did not visit. Would suggest you have a look at their website.
