Consistently ranked as the #1 golf course in Hawaii, playing The Plantation Course is sure to be on every golfer's bucket list. Designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore, the course was designed on a grand scale in keeping with its location on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains and offers dramatic ocean views from virtually every hole. Its lengthy 7,411 yard par 73 layout challenges the pros but it's wide fairways and generous greens make it very playable for the average golfer. With dramatic elevation changes, this course offers plenty of downhill tee shots. You'll feel like one of the pros when - with the aid of the aggressive slope of the 18th fairway - you will enjoy hitting one of the longest drives of your life. The Plantation Course is the site of the PGA TOUR Hyundai Tournament of Champions each January featuring an elite field of previous year's PGA TOUR winners.

My favorite course in all Hawaii and I've played them all. The course is stunningly beautiful, just ignore the spritz of rain you'll get at some point in your first few holes. It happens. I'm only writing because every time I've played I get paired...More

The views alone are worth the greens fees (which aren't cheap). This course is challenging but fair. The GPS system is amazing and accurate. It's wide open, so you can score but staying focused is tough -- when your eyes are constantly looking at the...More

Great course. Fun layout with a lot of great golf shots to play. It is a challenge to play. While the fairways are broad and hard to miss, between the changes in elevation and the winds, it hard to know the right club to hit....More

If you want to golf in Maui and can only choose one course, choose the Plantation course!! It's a little pricey (find deals on teeoff.com) but well worth it! This course is truly breathtaking and unforgettable. The only ugly thing about it was my scorecard....More

The Kapalua Plantation course is a beautiful, well maintained course. The course is hilly and challenging with some views of the Pacific Ocean. We enjoyed playing here but would not do so regularly because of the high greens fees. I give it 4 out of...More

Once in a lifetime golf round for golf lovers. Pricey but worth it. Course was in beautiful condition, tough course not for beginners. The wind is damaging to the course and your skin. Cart with built in GPS was fantastic and the esky/cooler one the...More
