A small but informative museum with very good information and exhibition on Cornwall mining and minerals. I also had a look at the small exhibit they have on the Poldark series

Well worth a visit and free for children up to 16! Food looked delicious - tasty salads - unfortunately we'd already eaten.

Free entry for children and only around £5-£6 for adults makes this a great value attraction. We spent a relaxed afternoon with our two children, aged ten and six, who particularly enjoyed the Egyptian exhibit on the second floor.

A lovely, friendly museum, with interesting exhibits for all ages. The displays keep changing, and there is a varied programme of events for young and old. Well worth a visit.

This is a lovely museum full of Cornish history, and an Egyptology section. I particularly enjoyed Philip Rashleigh's crystal collection, and learning about his connection with Menabilly, the house where Du Maurier lived.
