We visit the Hall for Cornwall as often as possible. It is not a cheap night out, tickets can be expensive and costs for drinks etc are high, but you are almost guaranteed an enjoyable time. On this occasion we went to the pantomime (oh...More

Our little local theatre does seem to be getting better and more exciting acts in each year. The Christmas panto is always a real treat and headline comedy acts are now on offer, not just tribute bands. Super freshly cooked meals before a show or...More

Brilliant show. It was great to see original performers rather than cover artists perform to a full house

The show was unusual but interesting none the less. I certainly became aware of my fire lighting options. The seating in the section we sat in was cramped and uncomfortable, but I understand that a big renovation is planned. HoC is a jewel in Truro...More

Hi, went to see matinee of Saturday Night Fever on Wednesday. Very talented cast of singers/musicians/dancers, although at times female singers were uncomfortably loud. However what really spoiled it was the frequent usage of the F word and other American expletives which would not have been heard in 1976 and did not reflect the era. As most of the audience was of a mature age the response was very poor. In fact it did not come alive until the finale which was great and more in line with what people had come to see and hear. I accept that maybe a younger audience would not have found the language so offensive as regrettably this is now everyday speech for some. Disappointing as other shows have been much more enjoyable without the vile language. hope this isn't t a taste of things to come .
