Deans blue hole is a great place to snorkel and just be amazed by in general. Really, it is just a big blue hole full of water but it is so strinking. There are many fish to see around it as well.

Don't miss this natural wonder! Bring your snorkel gear and beach towel and spend the day. Bring a picnic lunch or stop and pick something up at one of the local restaurants.

The road now goes right up to the beach. This spot is beautiful. Wear a swim suit, do not fail to wade in, walk across the underwater shelf to the blue hole and then swim in 600 foot deep water. The thought is paralyzingly. Bring...More

Great place, had fun in the hole. Scratch this off the bucket list, a little nerve racking not really knowing whats in the hole.

What an amazing place. The colors of the water and the unique fish are beyond description. Even if you aren't a diver there is much to be seen from the surface. Lots of treasures in the shallows too.

We spent one rainy day with a hired taxi to see the length of Long Island. We threw in our snorkeling gear just in case and good thing: we wouldn't have wanted to miss the underwater view of Dean's Blue Hole.

This place is magnificent, one of God's beautiful creation indeed. The beach was shallow and clear and all of a sudden the blue part reaches down the ocean floor. Amazing!

It was a very rough road getting to the beach, but it is in a beautiful inlet with sparkling turquoise water. There is a platform in the water over the hole where the free divers descend. There wasn't a sole there and it was very...More

Went here and actually met deep divers. They were practicing for the upcoming competition at the end of the month. Very beautiful!

It is 150 miles from Nassau, so it would use a lot of fuel. Cheaper to fly there and explore Long Island. Check out Bahama Dreamin for somewhere to stay.
