Great night out, live band , great atmosphere and even a drinks table service when the place is heaving with people. Only slight issue was an appalling smell. Not sure whether it was stale food, drink or the drains but hits you when you walk in and lingers. I’m sure the bar will sort it out

We went there with my husband, two other couples and three small children (only one is mine)

This is a fantastic bar great music and great staff, the owner made it his business to introduce himself on our first day and remembered our names all week.

The bar is not ideal for children but we took them in anyway as we didn't want to miss out on the Apre skiing in there, even thought the place was full the kids were made welcome and we enjoyed the end of day drinks everyday.

We tried other bars in the area, some are quite good but the Tibetan was like a magnet to us, my husband and the other guys were also in there after dinner on many nights.

If you don't like partying give it a miss but if you do you won't find a livlier bar in Morzine.

I suspect there was a little more involved than just standing on a stool with the guy who got thrown out, people don't get thrown out for standing on stools, this is a party bar

Was in Morzine at the end of December 2011 and end of January 2012 and spent time there every night on both trips. We were greeted every night on arrival, staff always found us a table whether there was 2 of us or 10 of us. Drink service was usually very quick, only a couple of times when they were rammed that it took a while. Great friendly atmosphere, when we went back in January one of the waitresses remembered us and made a point of looking after us from then on.

It is true that if you do not behave and repect the bar, you will be swiftly dealt with in a polite and curtious manner! But if you upset the clientele or bar staff you will be removed so others can enjoy the great atmosphere in peace!

We had an awesome time and were well looked after by the gorgeous girls behind the bar, but had trouble getting up the next day to go skiing!

Will be back soon! Si.x

I've been visiting this bar 2 to 3 times a year for the last 5 years - theres always a great atmosphere with good service and top music - the owner always is good for a hug and very welcoming to everyone - brought my Dad (73) here for the first time last year for some Apres fun - totally loved it and the young vibe in there - huge cool tv's all around showing uber cool ski and snowboard vids - always a great crowd in there - never seen trouble in there and I think this is down to the great management and how they run the bar - very safe with a great crowd out to enjoy themselves - I would rate this bar as one of the best in the Alps -10 out of 10 in my book,
Hopefully I will be in there for Xmas 2011!!

The interior decor is a real mixture from antique furniture to flat screen TV's
The owner not only works there but is also the DJ he joins in the fun also.
We were treated to shots and he was buying round for round beer with us, it was like drinking with one of my friends.
It is one of those bars you are never in a hurry to leave, maybe it is my age group but the music played included lots of my favorite tunes and the videos keep you mesmerized with the amazing stunts, all this while getting steadily drunk, I can't think of a better way to chill out.
If you miss this bar you will miss the best bar in Morzine, there are quite a few other good bars but this one definitely goes the extra mile to make you welcome.

Definitely the best we tried for a few drinks, very lively without being over run with crazy snowboard kids. Great service and decent food. Perfect place to catch up at the end the day.

There are lots of bars in Morzine that promote après drinking and late night opening. The Tibetan Cafe is different because even though it offers both of these things, it's slightly more up market. Holiday makers and locals go there to drink and listen to live music but there's more of a mature vibe. The food menu is excellent too...
