Thankfully, after watching it sputter out of existence, this store has closed. Please don't think this is any indication that the St. John economy is poor. There's a new store down the street plus love city mini market. And Josephine's to buy greens. It was just an obscenely overpriced garbage dump with an attitude.

Lily's gourmet isn't gourmet at all. They have most of what you would find at a mainland convenience store. Many of the items we purchased were out of date, covered in dust, and over priced even for St. John. The produce and meat was suspect and almost everything was more expensive than the Love City Market. The clerk was a... More

While Lily's is convenient, it has very basic, limited and overpriced items. The shop clerk barely looks up to acknowledge you. One night we bought a pineapple only to realize when we got it home that it was rotten on the bottom. We took it back the next day and he told us he hasnt had any pineapples for 3... More

Arrived in St. John's on Sat and went to pick up some breakfast supplies after a 12 hr journey. Firstly this place is as far from gourmet as you can get and when we went to make toast in the morning the bread had mould all the way through! They are charging gourmet prices for food I wouldn't even feed... More

Located in the Coccoloba Plaza ( just after Island Blues) heading toward Salt Pond. Coral Bay doesn't have many options for food, ice, deli, etc. There's Love City Market and Lily's. Love City Market has low prices on a wide variety of grocery items - but not usually the best produce and you should check exp dates. On the other... More

My husband and I recently returned from a one-week stay in Coral Bay on St. John. It was our first visit to the island, and we learned a few things I thought I'd pass along. First, although groceries are expensive everywhere on St. John, they're even more expensive out in Coral Bay. For example, a 24-pack of bottled water is... More
