Superb experience!

The location, the demo, the rams & the dogs were brilliant! Our 3 year old loved playing with the dogs and we loved the scenery and demo. Totally worth going!

An interesting activity for the entire family. The dogs are superb, the views are excellent and understanding farming life on a small family farm was informative.

This is one of the most interesting activities which we did in Ireland. Joe and his team of dogs demonstrated perfectly how the dogs can heard sheep moving them all through the fields and fences! He is also a wealth of knowledge about farming, raising sheep and training dogs and we thoroughly enjoyed hearing all about what farming life is... More

These dogs are so adorable! It was so impressive to see the dogs at work. Joe gives a great tour and is a lot of fun. But lower your expectations - Joe (rightly) only sells his dogs to working sheep farms because they have too much energy to expend doing anything else, so don't expect to leave with a new... More

In our two weeks driving through Ireland, this was a real departure from touring through churches, museums and pubs. Don't get me wrong, those are all part of the Ireland experience, but, this excursion into the Irish countryside to witness these sheepdogs work was very memorable. The hourlong demonstration was well worth our time as Joe proudly put several of... More

Joe is a great teacher and his dogs are amazing. Loved our time here. Beautiful scenery was a bonus. We visited as a part of an Inroads Ireland tour with a group of 14 people. Got to snuggle some wet puppies, too!

We were hoping to fit a visit in on our way up to Westport and that we did! Just riding up through the beauty of Connemara was amazing. We thought we were lost and were about to give up, but as we drove a bit farther to turn around we saw the sign and made it 5 minutes before the... More

Amazing what he can do with the dogs, check this out when in Connemara, the only thing he can't do is make the dog talk

Love the history, architecture and beautiful landscape, but the sheepdogs are a must see. It was really cool to see how he trains the dogs to follow the commands of his very quiet voice or the tones of his whistle. These dogs are amazing. And they have cute little puppies!

Thank Scott B
