We found out about these donkey walks from a tourist brochure. We did the 2 hour walk. Firstly we brushed and got to know our donkey, then given detailed instructions (in English) about how to care for our donkey. Armed with a map we headed out onto a well marked route. Very peaceful walk with a placid, well behaved donkey. Animals are well cared for and healthy, owner friendly and speaks some English. Thanks for a lovely morning!

One of the best experiences my family had whilst in France! Wasn't easy to find and we had some trepidation when driving to the location, but once we caught sight of our Donkey, Tam, we were hooked. What a delight! Let loose with your donkey round a mapped out route it was such a lovely time. It's not mentioned anywhere but little children can ride your donkey, my two absolutely loved it. What a way to spend 2 hours. Thank you Tam!

The donkeys are looked after and the hosts are knowledgeable. Then off you go with your donkey for a pleasant walk. That donkey will enjoy the picnic more if you take some food. Three adults did this and for two hours we were smiling with pure joy.

Our friend Julia just loves donkeys - so as a surprise my wife and I arranged a 'petite balade' and what an amazing experience we all had! The calm, relaxed pace of walking a gentle donkey and stopping to enjoy a picnic in the beautiful French countryside was a high point of our holiday. The donkeys are in excellent condition and are clearly very well looked after. The preparation for the walk and the instructions given are first class - even complete novice donkey handlers (like us) felt safe and in control from the start. I am glad that we seem to be the first English visitors to write a review because we thoroughly recommend Les Anes de la Reverie! Families with children, adults, couples all will have an amazing time and leave with wonderful memories (and lots of photos) to treasure.
