So much rubbish laying about. I wish this beach was much tidier, more garbage bins would be great. The City need to look at keeping the beach much cleaner. I found the water clean though and warm. Please City of Calbayog, such a lovely beach and setting - clean up the rubbish laying about on the sand and rocks

They have clear waters over pepper and salt colored sand that stretches far. And if ur with good company, i dont think u will notice the dilapidated cottages with worn out tables that fetch up to 600 pesos per use, the misplaced broken old fence separating the cottages from the sea. Oh yeah, comfort room/shower has no maintenance so i... More

20 minute $2 / person van ride from Grandtours headed toward Allen. They drop you off right at the access road to the beach. The zip line was fun and for $4 each, that's pretty awesome. It doesn't run everyday so check with the Calbayog tourism office (across from the Cathedral) in town to verify. You "hike" a concrete path... More

Gray sands with clear waters. There are small cottages where you can eat and rest if it's too hot to stay under the sun. You can see from here the people riding the zipline.

It was my 3rd visit to this nice beach. It doesn't change much...dark black silica sand take a bit of getting used to. The rentable huts stay the same...run down & need refurbing...but they still offer a nice place to sit down & eat your byo food. Mainly locals seem to go here & are well behaved & have a... More

It's a bit crowded out there but yeah its cool, 22 pesos only from the main city area so it's not really a big deal going there just take note of this, it is very hard to access transportation from there to city by 6pm onwards so be mindful about the time, happy travel :)

The beach is ok but off the main highway but is walking distance. The beach has a nice setup nut just need to be cleaned up. The water was clear but had trash in it. There was a lot of big jellyfish the day that I went. We hired a fisherman to take us to the Daraga Island close to... More

Take a shared jeepney from the terminal in Calbayog, it takes about 30 mins.(22 pesos) to get here. You can rent a cottage(from 100-400 pesos) on the beach. The water is clear but there's quite some rubbish in it. The sand is black. I've got bitten by a jellyfish, fortunately they sell vinegar at one of the stalls so it... More
