Check online and you will get loads of blogs that will tell you how to maximize your trip and budget in a 2D&1N itinerary. I believe this place could be so much more if only there is a strong community spirit towards keeping the neighborhoods clean. It helps a lot that the ocean and shorelines are clean.

I want to thank everyone from this Barangay for helping me feel at home and for all of the genuine concern and assistance that it has provided to me while I have been transitioning to my new home and establishing my new business in Sabang. From the Barangay Captain, his Counsel and the rest of the entire Hall staff I... More

If you are a surfer then this is the place for you. Nothing else exists. A sprawling mess of hotels and lodges and the Costa hotel. had Sabang Baragay actually planned how they wanted the place to look in 20 years then they could have created lots of work for local people. Instead they have allowed a jungle of concrete... More

Long stretch of fine brown sand with curling waves friendly enough for beginners – this is where I learn to surf and eventually became addicted. Baler might be approx 8 hours drive from Manila with a bit of a rough road but the majestic view always leaves me in awe. Have a lot of hostels and food stalls with very... More

Aside from being a home for historical landmarks and birthplace of former President Manuel Quezon, Baler is also one of the popular surfing spots in the country. I was glad that we stayed in guesthouse overlooking Sabang Beach and we’re only meters away from surfboard rentals. Fast fact about me: I can’t swim (swear I’m trying!) and have this fear... More

Hotels and inns by the beach are more expensive. You can choose to stay in less expensive inns away from the beach and then just take a trip to Sabang to enjoy the beach and the bar. Baywalk is alive at night with bars and restaurants. It is an awesome, cool place to meet other travelers. ;-)

A place where you can be so free and happy with your love ones/family. It was an amazing experience to surf and play with the water. I loved seeing my husband and son learning how to surf together. Spending quality time and good memories with my love ones with this amazing nature, oh! how I love to go back here... More

From the terminal down to the city to the beach, you feel so welcome in Baler. The tricycle drivers are quite informative and honest. I'd love to come back soon!
