This is a nice renovated twee village for pilgrims mainly on their walk. Coming by car you will have to park in the designated place. My only criticism is that I couldn't find a public toilet. There was a number of bars/restaurants you could use I suppose but cannot confirm this.

Yes, you must visit and make your own opinion. For me it was very disappointing that the church was locked so you could not go inside. I appreciate people live here, but it would be better to be able to see beyond the large green doors and understand better how people live. The land around the village is unkempt and... More

Very small town, build everything with stone. No cars allowed. You need to park outside of the town and walk through it. There are several restaurants that serve the famous Cocido Maragato. But pay attention: if you eat ALL the food you will have to sleep a ver long siesta!!!!!

We stopped here because of the reviews and to have lunch. Little did we know that the restaurants are closed on Mondays. Pretty but we didn't see another soul in the place.

Awesome mini village where you can eat the famous "Cocido Maragato", a delicious Spanish soup with chickpea, beef, chicken, pork, vegetables, chorizo, etc. There are several restaurants, but we went to Entrepiedras, full recommended.

There is a parking at the entrance so that the views aren't spoiled by parked cars. But apparently the parking is only for those who can read, as there were a bunch of cars here and there that spoiled the views and most of the pics.

We hiked through this town and we were happy that we did. It is so charming with all of the old stone houses. Very cute.

Very small town, aroun 100 people. Everything is stone. You need to park outside and walk your way through it. There are several restaurants that serve mostly Cocido Maragato (broth with chick peas and meats). Wear comfortable shoes.
