This is just a broken statue. There is no use going here. I am unsure why they are even displaying it.

My friend in Mexico told me about this, but I could not believe it. This attraction was created due "a miracle" this heavy stone Christ figure did to save people from an accident, which nobody except the local government believe and turned into a aquatic Park. Now the business is thriving, from pizza to roasted fish, beer and music; its... More

The drive was nice...the scenery is beautiful. ..I enjoyed it. ..the main attraction is the christ ...the only thing that was lacking was a tour guide to explain the history... take the time to stop by.

This is one of an unforgeable and necessary place to visit in Aguascalientes, Mexico. After the Brazilian Cristo, El Cristo Roto has the most passionate history and sculpture.

It was very cool to see. The boat ride was nice and interesting to her the history tour. Once on little island I was amazed at how big Christ was.

The trip was good to el cristo roto, but they stole my money and the office did not do anything about it. I will never return and do not recommend. Son unos... More

The site is called the Broken Christ. Apparently, Christ talked to it's finder and said: "I want that on having seen me people will think of so many of their brothers that are as I, broken, oppressed, paupers, sick, mutilated... I have no arms and therefore cannot work, no feet and therefore cannot walk, no cross because I have thrown... More

This is truly a beautiful place, I was able to go to Cristo Redentor in Brazil and I have to say that this Christ is almost as impressive.

I went there to see the "broken Christ" an impressive monument on top of an island at the Calles Dam. The 24 meters-high monument is indeed impressive. The small town is somehow not that nice though. I read there were a really poor town that started attracting tourism with this religious monument. You can see it on their streets. If... More
