One of the places I planned to visit during trip around Gotland. Cave itself is quite big, but for common visitors only small part is available. English guided tours are every second hour. Remember that inside is cold and could be slippery, so think about...More
A “must see” if you are on Gotland and have transportation and some time to spare. (If you have to choose between the Rauki in Fårö, go all the way up north). A good 15 minute car drive from Visby up north, you will find...More
Even though the history of this cave and its discovery is interesting you don’t get to see a lot. They have done an excellent job with the movie and presentation of this place but I don’t think it would be on my list of must...More
We biked from Visby to here, watched the short free movie first (where you buy the tickets), bought the ticket for the English tour, which was not as often as Swedish one but took us only a short waiting time, which we got us some...More
The museum has nice facts about the island and the young men that found the cavern, even though the wall poster are not translated (so I had to try to guess most of the stuff, at least the video had subtitles in English).
Interesting story about how it was found. We made the short trip wich doesn't let you see a big portion of the caver but it was a good guide and interesting. Am really interested in doing the longer, more adventurous trip with rubber boat, helmet,...More
No doubt that Lummelundagrottan is a fascinating attraction. It's fun if you're interested or/and if your visit is together with children. It's a fun adventure for children. However, I can't help feel that the story about how they found the cave and how it finally...More

Hi. You can't purchase tickets online, however you can fill in an online form and ask them any questions. If you are going for the standard tour of the cave there is no need to book ahead, just arrive a little while before the tour to purchase your ticket. There are lovely nature walks in the surrounding area and also a cafe on site, so plenty to do if you have to wait a little bit. If you are going for the adventure tour though it is crucial that you book ahead and you can do this by using the online contact form and they will email you back. Hope this helps.
