Delos is amazing and unique. Easily reachable from Mykonos by the boat service offered which unfortunately does not give you enough time to visit the whole island and the ruins on it.

Don't miss Delos!!! Full of history... very well preserved! Its about 20 min in a ferry. Very kind people. They give you a self explanatory map, and leave you to do the tour at your pace.

If your ship stops in Mikonos for the day and you're a history junky, take the ferry to the Island of Delos. We arrived early and took the last ferry out, and loved every minute of it. It's a free-romp across an island of historical importance (do your reading first!), complete with mosaic floors still intact, some architecture still erected,... More

Delos is an island everyone must visit. Whole island is an archaelogical site and forbidden to stay on overnight! Only the guards are there. To wander through the streets of ancient times and imagine how the people lived is incredible. Silence, beauty, marble, mosaics, flowers, light wind and an amazing climb to the top of Mt Kythnos must not be... More

The usual tour to Delos by boat gives you about two and a half hours on the island. We found it insufficient to see everything, and chose to return a second time. After being there two times we can suggest how is best to see the most of Delos. Daytrip boats anchor in the harbour, which lies in the same... More

We took the10:00a ferry from Mykonos Town to Delos. Upon arrival we met a wonderful lady that was organizing a tour group, and we opted to join. She was very knowledgeable and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, where we saw the major highlights. We then had a little more than an hour to do additional explaoration on our own.... More

We took the boat from Port of Mykonos to Delos Island. This site has not had a lot of the ruins rebuilt but does have a small museum with a number of items in it. It was a great day and easy to get around as the site is flat. There were not a lot of crowds on the island... More
