We took the boat from Mykonos ((€20 return) and enjoyed the 30 minute sail to the island of Delos. On arrival there is a €12 entrance fee and you are given a basic map of the site. Guides are available (€10) but we enjoyed taking our own time and enjoying this beautiful island. To visit in spring is a delight,... More

This historic site is a short and enjoyable boat ride from Mykonos. Be sure to take a guidebook or else have a tour lined up to appreciate this historic site. Otherwise, the site is so large, you may not have a great direction as to where begin. See the mountain and lake of the birthplace of Zeus as well as... More

Delos is an island that is a great archaeological site. As one walks through the streets of Delos, one can't help but be overwhelmed by the advancement of Ancient Greece! Delos is a highlight of any visit to Greece! The beautiful houses, the designs, the pavements, roads, columns, doors, frescoes, sculptures, and even the space planning at that ancient time... More

Though everyone from Mykonos really recommends it, it's not worth the 20-22 Euro for ferry ride & entrance to site. If one is going to see sites like Acropolis, this site may feel very generic and repetitive. I even forget we went there. We would have been better off spending the time and money just relaxing longer at a Mykonos... More

We had a small group of 8 people and our resort was able to set up a small private charter boat for us for the day - about $50/person for about a 7-8 hour day. The boat picked us up at the beach (Paradise) right in front of our resort (Votsolaki) in the morning and took us over to Delos.... More

Delos is amazing and unique. Easily reachable from Mykonos by the boat service offered which unfortunately does not give you enough time to visit the whole island and the ruins on it.

Don't miss Delos!!! Full of history... very well preserved! Its about 20 min in a ferry. Very kind people. They give you a self explanatory map, and leave you to do the tour at your pace.
