What an amazing tour guide! Malcolm brought the events of D Day to life through his incredible and passionate story telling. He knows his subject and clearly loves what he does - this is infectious and we spent our two days with Malcolm asking questions and sharing views. We also enjoyed Alison's superb picnics on both days - we only ordered for one day but it was so good we changed plans and ordered a second at short notice - which was not a problem. We will be back soon and wouldn't dream of touring the d day beaches with anyone else - we'll be telling our friends and families that Malcolm is the man to go to for a tour! My husbands passion for the Longest Day movie has been re-ignited - I can expect a screening when we get home!

I cannot recommend a Normandy tour with Maclolm more highly! He is insightful, respectful, unbelievably knowledgeable, and a fantastic storyteller. You will come away from this with a very memorable experience, I have no doubt. During our one-day tour, Malcolm brought the history of the D-Day invasion to life through his detailed maps and examples, along with some amazing stories at each spot. His guiding ability is the best I’ve ever experienced - so much so that I’d love to do a longer tour again in the future!

Our day trip to Normandy was unforgettable! Malcom was an incredible story teller and really brought the history of D-Day to life. We had the best time learning from his wealth of knowledge. If you are visiting the Normandy area, booking a tour with Malcom is a must!

Recently completed a three-day bucket list tour of Normandy. If Normandy is on your bucket list keep two items in mind: make sure to hire a private guide rather than using a group tour, and hire Malcolm of D-day Tours of Normandy. Malcolm is an expert on the topic, and a warm and welcoming guide. He invites questions and enjoys conversation. He clearly loves the subject matter and looks forward to sharing that knowledge with his guests. I assure you that you will enjoy this tour. The transportation in his late model SUV also adds to the experience. My favorite three activities: taps at 5:00 at the American cemetery, Pointe Du' Hoc, and Pegasus Bridge

Just spent three days with Malcolm touring the Normandy sites. He is in every way outstanding. His knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for the subject is infectious. He is genial, accommodating in every way and wants his clients to have the best experience possible. He’s the kind of person I would love to have a pint at the pub with! Malcolm imparted a fantastic appreciation for the planning, logistics and events of D Day and the days after. He knew the names and stories of many of the individual heroes — on both sides. He provided very comfortable transportation for the entire tour. I would also recommend his packed lunch from home — good food, obviously kindly prepared and Malcolm seems to know every picnic spot in Normandy. Fantastic value and among the very best tour guides I have had in 40 years of travel.
