I visited Moonlit with my sister in hopes of seeing the animals native to Australia. Well I got that and more! Buy the kangaroo food and be quiet around the walkways and you'll be pleasantly surprised with how close you get to the animals. Wallaby are less timid than the kangaroos but if you're patient you'll get the kangaroos to... More

Brittany did an amazing job helping us get sorted and giving directions for the park. She was more excited than us for our encounters package (highly recommend this). Arrive early as there is no one in the park. We had the entire park to ourselves. One of the best parks we've been to on our trip, does not feel like... More

The sanctuary is excellent and definitely worth a visit. There is a large area where kangaroos roam free and will take food out of your hand. We also paid a bit extra to stroke a koala and take photos with them. Lots of other animals like dingo dogs, wombats, wallabies and many more. The whole sanctuary looks very natural with... More

The sanctuary is beautiful and for somebody who has never been to Australia, it is pretty amazing to get up close to Wallabies, Koalas and Cangaroos. It is phenomenal that the Cangaroos and wallabies get to just run around as they want, but compared to the space they would have in the wild, I think it is still relatively small.... More

Thank you for your review, and yes it is amazing to get up close to our wonderful wildlife. Be assured all our enclosures are designed firstly with the needs of each animal in mind. Of course the space is nowhere near as much as they have in the wild but they do not have to range over large areas of... More

This was an awesome experience!! Not a huge place but all of the Roos', wallaby and birds roam freely and you can purchase food for $2 in the gift shop to feed them. Got to feed kangaroos and take selfies with them! Park was well maintained and staff was friendly. They also offered opportunity to feed/hold koala but I did... More

This award-winning sanctuary is a must-see for tourists who are guaranteed the chance to experience everything from koalas to Tasmania tigers, owls and quolls to wallabies and wombats up close and personal in one visit. Whether you spend half an hour or five hours you won't be disappointed. For a little extra on the entry price, visitors can hold a... More

On checking this place out we were not sure whether to go as it seemed after paying an entrance fee there were extra charges for each animal encounter regarding touching and closeness. This was not really the case and we were able to get up close and enjoy our visit in a most relaxing way. There were staff around who... More

Glad you enjoyed your visit. You are right there are additional charges for some encounters, this reflects the cost of running them and the fact that because of animal welfare needs only a limited number of people can participate in each encounter every day. There is a lot to see and do without the encounters, as you found out. We... More

Although the sanctuary is small it had a lot of the wildlife that you want to see. It's easy to get up close and personal. I was lucky to gain the trust to feed wallabies, kangaroos and a grey bird out of my hand. There is a brief show where you get to see a few of the wildlife show... More

We finally got around to visiting the Moonlit Sanctuary after reading and hearing great reviews and we were not disappointed. The animals were all beautiful. The guide was super knowledgeable and we learned a lot of interesting facts. We took a lantern tour and saw the wildlife at night. Our plan is to return during daylight hours as soon as... More

I took the 3 year old twins I nanny to the Moonlit Sanctuary yesterday. It was our first visit and I cannot praise it enough. All the animals were well cared for, active and in clean enclosures spaced amongst the trees. The staff are friendly and were happy to answer the kids some times odd questions. The signage on the...
