Cool Museum.

Very nice museum, very fun for people interested in the way machines work. We paid extra and got to ride in one of them. There are also fun areas and activities for kids.

An museum for tecknical intrested persons, or fans for offroad-driving. You can get a small ride in a Unimog in their own mud/offroad-track outside. They have a small resturant, and a fan-shop with toys and pins

To produce the variety of the vehicles and the sense of the manufacturers individual solutions for working vehicles is astonishing. Its all "UNIMOG"! Nevertheless, for me the fun came only when I entered the vehikel and we drove over hill and dale! Persuasive technology and really driving pleasure. To the good end I have extended my collection of model vehicles... More

We went to that Museum with our three kids (two girls) and we had a good time ... for two hours. You can explore the history of the Unimog (and a bit for the MBtrac), see a few interesting examples AND get to do a really impressive ride on an Unimog ... funny thing is, during the ride the driver... Its a small museun with diferent unimog trucks that show how different this can be. You can pay for a ride in one to see the capabilities for climbing. There is a small cafeteria for eating something. Its close to baden baden, is worth the visit.

This was a great first stop on the Route 500 Schwarzwald Hochstrasse. OK it was a slight detour and a good way to avoid Baden Baden traffic. The museum is small and modern. If you're a car/truck enthusiast, you'll find it interesting. I'm not, but it was still cool to skim through and see all the different vehicles and applications... More

Being able to drive one of these ultra cool vehicles to its limits in a controlled environment is one of the most fun ways to spend a day. Very helpful staff and co-driver. Although the machine is not the most simple vehicle to operate, The training makes the experience easy and a blast. Very impressive to see what these things... More

This was a spur-of-the-moment addition to our itinerary. We had heard about the Unimog museum on one of our car factory tours (Mercedes, Porsche, or AMG) and saw that we'd be traveling to the nearby-town of Baden-Baden (about 20 min to Gaggenau), so we added this stop. FUN! I'm not into trucks, but these old Unimogs have so much personality.... More

We visited here because of a promise to my 16 year old grandson and it was really great. The number of vehicles starting with the historical pre-Mercedes Benz vehicles, the versatility displayed by all the implements and attachments and the information given with each display was very well done. The ride along in a modern vehicle over a well designed... More
