Sad but important
We visited this during our stay in Borgo. It was very moving - the names and ages of the many people who were deported from here and did not survive the Nazi concentration camps are inscribed in brass in lines along the ground. Those who did survive have their names standing upright - there are pitifully few of these. What really struck me was the size of the cattle trucks in which people were transported - they are tiny, barely high enough to stand up in and with one small grating for air to get in. A must see exhibit if you are in the area.
