As another reviewer wrote Le Galion used to be such a great beach. The drive to the beach is really like driving through a dump. Huge mounds of garbage that hadn't been picked up yet. The Butterfly farm and stables no longer there either. Once...More

We stopped here for a couple of hours not knowing what to expect after the hurricane. The road leading to this beach was devastated and so was the beach. There's not much left here. No vendors, no chair rentals and the trees are in bad...More

This beach was a lot of fun. Excellent snorkelling. Calm waters for young children. If you swim out there is a dock, and swimming lanes and diving step. Continue swimming and the water becomes shallow again where the Sea pours itself into the bay as...More

A rather family based beach. Not very clean waters and way too many sea weed. The raft is nice for kids and also the shallow waters.

We traveled with a three-year-old. We stayed in Grand Case, which has its own beautiful beach. However, the water on grand case maybe on the cool side sometimes. While on vacation with a three-year-old we didn't want to fight over how long she can stay...More

The beach is very calm and perfect for kids. But, beware, the seaweed area has some sort of coral that stings. A few applications of aloe helped relieve the sting.

It did not appear to be clothing optional. Everyone was wearing swim wear or other clothing. I believe Orient Bay beach is the only "clothing optional" beach.
