Hidden Costs and cold temperatures.
Mar 2017
We were very excited to relax in the Terme val Rendena after tracking and snowboarding. But the hidden costs left a bitter aftertaste after leaving the Spa. When we arrived we were greeted friendly and were told that two hours are €16 and one hour €12. we decided on two hours and were asked if we need towels and flip flops. We said yes, I got a pair in size 38. not good when you are a size 40, but they were new and I accepted. Downstairs the ambient and the sauna is very nice, but the pool is a little to cold as is the whole room. Both steam rooms were cold and the steam was just at the cieling, so it was ok standing, but not sitting. The salt grotto smelled of salt and mould. Eeeek! Everything was clean, and there was warm tea and apples. All newspapers were in italian, so not that nice for tourists. When we went upstairs to pay we were told its €81 for the three of us. We asked why and they told us they charge for evety towel and we bought the flip flops. Means £11 extra per Person! We asked why we were not told before that they charged that much, as our room was 2mins walk away and we could have used our own. Answer: you can read it in our terms and conditions!!! The flip flops were now ours, we bought them....ok, then please ask for a size so that I can use them again???? Our british bank cards and credit cards were then refused, we just had luck that our italian friend had cash. Again not mentioned before. Very unpleasent ending and the whole two ours ow relaxation were useless as we left with a bad feeling. Saving money with lowering the temperatures and adding hidden extra costs is dissapointing, even if the location has much potential.

Relaxation and harmony
Dec 2014
This is the ideal place to relax and unwind while sipping on some detoxifying herbal tea or simply lying on a deckchair. If you're not a fan of the sauna, do not worry, there are plenty of options on offer, from the jacuzzi to the kneip therapy. Besides, sweet melodies and changing lights will make your stay a great experience.
