Worth finding

A bit off the beaten track but worth the effort. Beautiful sand and great walking to be had from there.

I love this beach! We stayed in bude for a week from 29th oct to the 5th November and we just kept coming back to sandymouth for walks after having a day out elsewhere. It's so scenic and the water is so clear our children got to play in the water couple of times because the weather so so warm... More

Fantastic beach Wide expanse of sand at low tide. Perfect for the dog to run and play. Great place for a summer picnic too. Good food facilities at the top along with toilets. Well worth the few quid for the national trust carpark as it's all so clean and well looked after

Lots of sea life if you look for it, lovely open sandy beach, plenty of rest stops and eateries on the doorstep too.

this beach is well worth a visit . We walked our dog and met many other dog walkers .Allowed on beach from 1st October. It was very easily accessible and clean. There were lots of surfers and it was good to watch children learning. Lovely sunsets.

beautiful walk along the beach & the views were stunning, I even built a balancing stone pile. Lots of people with lovely dogs running around enjoying their runs.

At low tide this beach has miles of golden sand, great waves though no life guards. Beautiful cliffs surround the beach with mini waterfalls coming from the hills above. Deep rock looks great for finding sea life and we have seen a large pod of dolphins pass by on this beach. Dog friendly - national trust car park so a... More

This beach is for surfers not much else. Stood and watched them then looked at rock formations. What else is there to say. Long beach but long drive to get there

With a mass of rock pools and shallow pools to explore, ideal for kids and great surf for older ones. Can be tricky to walk down/up to over the rocks if you're not too good on your feet! Beautiful beach :)

Excellent dog friendly beach. Access is a bit tricky but we'll worth the scramble over the stones to get to the sand. The views are fantastic and the water is very clear. The cliffs are worth going up for the coastal walks either side. If you're a National Trust member parking is free too. We loved it so much we... More
