Make sure you leave yourselves plenty time to wander around and to take in all of the buildings and to sit and contemplate the wisdom of who ever chose this marvelous location with ti's sweeping vistas.

The Sacro Monte is accessible by trail or cable car and the hike to the Tre Croce (3 crosses) is well worth the effort.
