good wine at a great price
Sep 2018 • Couples
we bought duepalme wine from their store at via del mare in Lecce. they offer not only bottles of wine but they have large vats where you can bring in your own bottle or even jugs or buy theirs and have them filled. okay, we are not wine connoisseurs, but we know a refreshing, good wine to drink for dinner or lunch. for just over 1 euro; we had our own bottle filled with a wonderful rose. This is the way a lot of locals have their wine and if we were to live in Lecce this is where we would buy our wine. The man on duty was very pleasant and helpful.

Famose Winery in Salentino
Jul 2018 • Couples
Big Cantina/Winery for visiting and selling of a lot of sorts of wine from the own winery and from the Salentino region. Wine tasting is possible. Our recommendation: Negroamaro graps and Rose' wine.

Excellent light lunch

We visited the cantone at the end of September. It was very quiet and there was no tour available that day. We had the wine tasting and the snack with wine. All very enjoyable and good value.

Amazing!
Jul 2016 • Couples
Our local wine merchant had arranged for a visit to Cantine Due Palme. The entrance was a little difficult to find but when we did, oh boy, what a operation. Large tanks, big halls with all sorts of machinery and an auditorium where the CEO of the company weekly addresses the suppliers of the grapes. We have learned a lot from Laura on our tour over the plant.

An interesting tour
Sep 2013 • Friends
Tour the factory, don't expect to see the vines as the grapes are sourced from many villages nearby. Very interesting to see the process, the rogues gallery of producers and the many awards won by the wine. We enjoyed a tasty lunch and the tour guide was informatiive but quietly spoken. A small shop, but don't expect cheap prices or samples of wine unless you have booked in advance. A very pleasant few hours.

Great range of wines and very good service/tour

This is one of the regions largest wineries and it has a fantastic selection of wines. We took the lunch deal which was very good for the price. Our guide sat with us over lunch and we were able to learn about the different grape growers and harvesters all around the region that contribute the the Cantine Due Palme wines. They also have some very interesting techniques and the tour is well informed. I have never seen wine tanks so HUGE!
This is a very big organisation and is a good way of seeing how the wine industry works on this scale.

A classic winery tour
Jul 2012 • Friends
Our guide, who spoke excelent English, had a very wide knowledge of the wine making process & history of the winery. The tour covered the full process from the arrival of the grapes to the the finished bottles. This is an impressive modern facility using state of the art processes to produce high quality Puglian wines from locally grown grapes. We then had an excelent lunch accompanied by some of the wines. It was a great way to spend a morning. There is a retail outlet, open to all, if you want to take wine home, also a tasting option without the lunch. Please note that minimum number for both wine tasting & for tour with lunch is 6 people.
