The campsite is on the banks of the Mosel and a short cycle ride into the town centre. We were given a wide choice of where to place our camping van. All the pitches have electricity, but it depends on how long your cable is, as the plug-in points were often over 20 metres away. The showers are free with... More

Military family took a day trip here with visiting family. This was such a treat for all of us! Nice little climb to the castle but so worth it. Take good walking/hiking shoes because the cobblestone streets aren't easy to trek if your traveling with anyone who might need special considerations.

It was really amazing being there I was shocked I couldn't believe it! It seems like the movies, the tour guide was fantastic! And the best you can take memories with you by taking pictures! The view up there is WOW it is exactly like a fairy tale GORGEOUS! I wish I just can be able to visit it again!... More

Charming town of Cochem. Give yourself more time to check out the town and perhaps go on a river boat. Or go with a double seat gondola almost to the top of mountain. There is a fee for the gondola. Great views of the valley. Possibility to trek around the mountain and down the hill on your own. Awesome wine... More
