The castle is beautiful and well kept, the tour guide very helpful. Almost no way of reaching the castle by car and the climbing can be hard for children and elders

I must reccomend a guide tour through this imposant castle, there is so much to tell about it. The view is stunning over the river Mosel and the wine hills are at your feet. It´s possible to go up by coach but it is worth...More

This is a nicely restored and furnished castle overlooking the Mosel and the town of Cochem. There are nice architectural details inside, and photos are allowed (unlike at the nearby Burg Eltz). Very nice views. Tours are given in English at 12 and 3. For...More

Schloß Cochem is extremely picturesque and delight for shutterbugs! Perched on a hill around miles of wine vineyards and above the Mosel River, its location couldn't be better for fighting off invaders in medieval times...take the hike uphill, great views of the valley and a...More

It is highly recommended when you are in Cochem. We arrived Cochem after our river cruise so this and cycling along the Moselle rivers are the two things that we did

We had a guided tour in a group of 30 persons. The guide was good, and she spoke German and English. She also handed out sheets of information in other languages. It was a nice experience, and a must see while in Cochem. The walk...More
