Just a little something to go up to a certain height and have different sights. This is better for children.

Very informative and educative walk, where much information about forest husbandry and the development of the forestry in the region is explained.

Nice walk from a different perspective. The kids (9,11,14) enjoyed it much more than I expected. The little games you find a long the path interested them. Can be combined with the rope park an waterpark near by, for a full fun day.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here with our young family. Went on the cable car and walked down the green trail ( 2 km ) to the top end of the tree top walk. Would advise to get a combi ticket at the ticket office near...More

Can only concur with the other readers comments really, we did the combi ticket thing with a toddler, 6 year old and a pensioner plus 2 adults. Castle ruins and views were brilliant, can see quite far across the North German plain. Nice little kiosk...More

My wife and I chose to do this the easy way, sort of. A trip up the Burgberg Seilbahn and a 2-km walk down to the Baumwipfelpfad. I say easy because the gondola does all the heavy lifting for you. We had a beautiful day,...More

Had a great time here with my two teenage sons. We did the combi ticket. Walked up the Burgberg, had a snack and saw castle remains, then took the Seilbahn back down. The Baumwipfelpfad path was excellent! Very unique. There was nothing in English, so...More

If you're in Bad Harzburg and are reasonably fit and active, this place is a must. You can trek up or down this raised wooden pathway, or explore it both ways. Tickets only let you in once, but if you don't leave, you can go...More

Really enjoyed this trip, we chose to take the cable car up to the top and chose the shorter 2.2km walk back down to the start of the treetop walk. Maybe not be the easiest walk for people with reduced mobility but if you enquire...More
