Owner who wants a punch up with his customers!
Jul 2018
Firstly i need to say that Ruhpolding is perhaps my favourite place and the people are wonderful, however the owner here almost changed my mind! This is a beautifully kept and well-presented attraction but i fear this is what they want it to remain and not to be enjoyed. All concrete and brick so solid and not breakable or particularly attractive as a mini golf course. At 17 Euro for a family of four imo pretty expensive for what it is. We were playing late morning and our 10 year old was struggling at one hole so we thought it would be easier for him and us to 'put' from further up the hole. We were spoken to by the gardener who turned out to be owner who aggressively told us that this is not how you play in Germany! and many people have ended in hospital playing that way! (standing together on the course) We decided to move to the next hole as our playing style was not suitable for this one however the owner prevented us from doing so and became aggressive and abusive. We asked for him to let us play however he would not let up with the lecture. It became so bad that our children were unsettled and he looked like he was going to throw punches. At this point we decided to leave to avoid any further issues (on hole 4) i asked for our money back at the kiosk and explained the man was aggressive, he had followed me at my back being abusive the walk to the kiosk anyway before starting to abuse my wife. There was no issue getting the money back from the lady at the desk who was very nice, making me think it was a regular thing. To make things worse he followed us out of the premises to continue his abuse in English towards us. He continued to follow us out into the car park area, at this pint i really had had enough particularly as he was looking like he was going to hit either me or my wife so i reacted angrily in a hope to deter him. At this point he told us never to come back and he does not need our business, we were the only people on the course so he's not that busy! A really bad experience all round which unfortunately is my 10 year olds most vivid memory of a wonderful holiday in a wonderful place. Dont give this bully your money please and remember mini golf is a very dangerous sport you will be hospitalised if you dont play safe!!!!!!!!. I expect an abusive response similar to the last one he left a paying customer and reviewer which would be fully in keeping with his character.

Great little course
Aug 2019 • Couples
A good challenging course with some surprising holes! There is a pool golf and jet golf course too but we didn't do that. Lady running it was very helpful and spoke English which helped.

Completely out of thin air! We just wanted to tell this player from Scotland that he should take care not to hit the other players at the tee off because they were four of them with their balls. The customer did not even listen to the argument, but immediately began to fumble. Probably meant to have the gardener in front of him. All the worse - such guests do not need MINIGOLF AT THE KURHAUS. The client's wife has once again explicitly apologized to us for the aggressive behavior of her husband. We then completely refunded the unwary customer's entrance, accompanied them to the exit and asked them to never re-enter the facility. Such aggressive guests have no business here. We will hope, he is not always so agressiv. Dear family ...

Great family fun
Jul 2016 • Family
We decided to try a little mini golf one afternoon in Ruhpolding here, great fun had by all three generations of the family. Some challenging holes, which resulted in much laughter. Nice kept ground with umbrellas at each hole for a little shade. We would definitely play again, maybe next year.

Rip off ?
Jul 2016 • Family
We own a house near Ruhpolding and I decided to go with my boys aged 4 and 6 for a round of crazy golf.
Let´s talk about the good things. The area is clean and tidy. The crazy golf course is average but well maintained.
There is a rating here from a user called khunbon which gives a little bit of a better understanding what is happening. I would not say management is arrogant but at the end of the day it is all about making money.
They leave the impression that they really care for families but when I arrived with my boys I was told I could not go with them on the crazy golf circuit unless I play and pay myself. As my boys are too small to play on their own I was forced to buy a ticket for myself even though I did not want to play at all. I sincerely felt I was pushed for something I did not want. If you are willing to go and play with friends and family you might be ok, if you just want to supervise your children you will be ripped off.
I would suggest you find out for yourself.

The only place where you can go for less, is a church, I think. To buy a house near ruhpolding is ok, but to pay 4,20 Euro for a round of crazy golf is too much? In case of that, its better to stay at home. You have to pay for admission, even if you only accompany your children. In the leisure park, in the wave pool, in the outdoor pool, in the museum, in the cinema or in an animal park. Think about it!

Good minigolf
Jul 2015 • Family
I had a round of minigolf With my family on the way from Salzburg to Munchen. We found the course to be quite good. It was well built, but could perhaps be a bit more challenging and varied. Fair price.

A fairly standard minigolf course, it is reasonable value and it passes the time. Good for kids and worth a try.

Worth a try!

Family of four with two teenage boys. Good fun. Quite challenging as mini golf goes, - young children may want to "place the ball". We went twice and thoroughly enjoyed it. Small cafe there and and also deckchairs after to relax. Friendly owners.

Hardest course we've ever played
Jun 2014 • Friends
This is a pretty trickly little course and great fun. There's all the usual suspects with a variety of objects to get through, around or under and even a hole where you have to use your putter to actually make an approach shot over several metres! The little café is very pleasant too ad there are other things to do.
