Took the train from Munich Hbf and got off at Freising. This locates in the site of the brewery which is still making beers. My daughter and husband, living in Munich, highly recommend Weihenstephan but it's a bit distant from Munich. Worth to visit !!...More

We attended a fest there it was great! Bands, beer and plenty of great food! Prepare for a long uphill walk.

For Sunday its good attaraction.Wonderful garden.You can feel peace.End of this road you can find Weihenstephen BRAUREI.(good food and cold beer)

Atmosphere was great, even though a drizzle. Soccer (football) was on the big screen for the European championships. Beer was great.
